Okay, so I know that both Transformers and GI Joe have online Collector Clubs for exclusive toys.  Does such a thing exist for My Little Pony?  Has there been such a thing in the past?  I know that European markets have had various exclusives but I don't think it's quite the same thing.

There's nothing in place now, but G1-3 all had the pony points program where you would clip horseshoe pictures off packages and send them in for mail-order exclusives. G1 also had a fan club, but I don't think any of the other gens did.

Yup - nothing at the moment and Hasbro messed up so much with G3 that I think the chances of getting one back could take some convincing. I always think the way the line digressed into less ponies and more merch for mail order offers is a sign that the offers are not massively successful.

Hopefully one day it will come back. Even if its not to the scale G1 had - something would be better than nothing.
