Munchy the meat eater?

Why is everyone freaked out by the idea of her having hotdogs and such as her symbol?
Yes I know, because it creates the idea of ponies eating meat.
But has no one read her backcard story?
She creates those things out of baseballs and baseball bets...

Never bothers me either way - a symbol is a symbol - just because she is decorated with burgers and hot dogs doesnt mean she eats them after all.

I found my Munchy at a fleamarket many years ago when I first started collecting. I had no idea who she was and thought she was kind of ugly with all those random food symbols all over her. I called her "French Fry" until I found out who she was online awhile later. lol!

Hehe, I think that is her backcard story I love it (although I agree - it is a little scary!) It's really fun reading some of the older backcard stories though, some of the ponies do some quite jawdropping things to each other - like Moondancer do to poor Twilight. I think it is funny though It says a lot about children's stories of the beginning of the 80's. Not so many were scared that we(the children) would freak out about stuff like this at all! The good ol' days!

EDIT: oh, and of course - I never thought anything about Munchy's symbols either. But I rarely think about  stuff like this  And even though it was meat - hotdogs and hamburgers were huuuuuge when Munchy were released. It was the glory time for McDOnalds, PizzaHut etc.etc.  I'm not really surprised that ponies of that age ate hotdogs and hamburgers

I don't think it would be weird if Munchy ate hotdogs. They are usually made of pig's meat, after all. It might be a little funny, but anyway. That backcard story made me laugh! It's cute!
