Most I ever spent on a pony was about 50 on a Mimic. I got lucky, I was at the MLPfair (I had a table so I was there while others were setting up), was looking around, saw someone had her and asked real nice. She's lovely and completed my twinkle eye collection, which is my very favourite.

I've spent similar amounts on customs, though. Love customs.

Uh, uh, uh. Oh wait, I know I spent a nice amount of change on a Nacthlicht. What a beautiful pony.

I haven't really been spending much on ponies lately. Half of that is the lack of them in my local stores (we're getting a target someday, though, so that may change), a quarter of it is that most of them aren't new ponies, it's just rereleases of the same ones, and an eighth of it I've learned to conserve my damn money.

Definitely gonna end up blowing a chunk of change on that toys r us package with Nightmare Moon and those other ponies from TOys R Us though.

Sunburst at $60 is the most I've ever spent on a single pony. I've loved him for a quite some time and finally bought him after having a crappy 1st half of this year. I don't think I'll spend close to that  again for 1 pony. Usually I can't bear to go over $8 for 1 pony

I think the most I've ever spent on a pony would be Scootaloo before the Pony School Pals set came out. Either that or the Skywishes before the European Exclusive came out.

Though I think that if I pursue Ditzy, that one will top both of them...

£35 for Surprise Twins Mummy pony, no twins, semi-working mechanism. But I was so happy to have her. She was actually one of my first buys in attempts to get my childhood collection back. I think that's roughly $55.

And then I think $60ish on my Rainbow Dash plush, and the same for a baby Derp.y plush.

*facepalm* it looks much worse in dollars than it does in pounds!

Most of my collection is comprised of ponies I pay less than £10 for, with postage (oh yeah, these ponies are all with additional postage too), so I don't feel too bad about it. Mostly. Haha.

I think mine is £40 including postage for Tux n Tails.

I overspent, but I'd just paid off my overdraft and he was *blue* and he was a *shire* and he was *there*.  That and Satin and Lace had been looking at me reproachfully for about 10 years.

These days my limit is usually £10 total for a pony, although my desire for nirvanas may get the better of me occasionally.

Hugs,

WB

Hmm, I think the most I've ever spent on a pony was on Macau Jenny - I paid 60$ for her. The next in line would be NBBE Baby Ribbon who I paid around 40$ for, but she was totally worth it! I adore that little girl and then I had already lost more auctions on her than on any other pony I've bid on (because of snipers :argh:). When she finally arrived and was perfect(!!) I was so happy I could gladly paid 90$ for her!

I've also paid 35'ish$ for a baby Cherries Jubilee, but that was when I had a brief return to the ponyworld after a long absence, and trust me - after collecting Ball-jointed Dolls for years - 35$ seemed like a STEAL :iconclap:

other than that I think all my ponies have been under 10$. Oh, except my new G4s who I bought in my local store for 19$ Before I knew what they were going for online *sigh* But hey, Norway is always expensive so why would I believe MLPs were any different

The pony I spent most on is Tux 'N Tails with his bow tie for $80. And Mimic for $70.

I'm not sure what my upper limit is. $200 perhaps.

edit. I paid $89 for Ice Crystal, so that's the most pricey one.

Hmm...my most pricey pony so far has probably been Tornado, but I had a gift card that covered most of his purchase price ($65).  After that would be Thundercloud, who I paid $57 out of pocket for.  There were also a couple of ponies in the $40 range at last year's MLP Fair (Argie Medley and Baby Hopscotch) and one I bought online as a set completer last year (MLP Tales Bon Bon).  Most of my valuable stuff I've gotten pretty lucky with though!

So far I have not spent more than $65 on any single pony.  I, uh, can't quite say the same for my Care Bear collection though... :lookround:

Most of my ponies I've only spent a few dollars or less on. The most I've ever paid was $12 each for some MOC newborns (this was around 2000). Since my goal is to get as many as I can without going broke, and I have most of my grails already, spending a lot on one pony generally isn't something I want to do.

However, if I did have specific ones that I wanted, you can be sure I'd be willing to pay quite a bit for them! Munchy is probably my highest priority right now, but even then, I don't care enough at the moment to buy one.

The high triple digits for a couple of my nirvanas...and the low triple figures for most of my US MO collection.

The other most expensive items are some of the accessories for my UK ponies oddly enough :P

The most I've spent was 40 on a custom about 35 on a pony.
