*grabby hands* SPIKE! He's so cute! Cartoon eyes Spike was only available with mail order flutter pony Hollywood right? I just love his eyes. I have a small army of Spike (does 4 Spikes make an army?  ) I think I have all pink Dream Castle Spikes! 

He was available at least once just by himself as well through Mail Order with no sign of Hollywood

At first I was like:
"YAY A THREAD JUST FOR SPIKEY WIKEY!" 

Then I was like:
"Oh...the early generation spike."

But then again...I never knew Spike was from the earlier generations before. Don't know how he acted like before.

Ooh, now I wanna pull out my Spikes and line them up together and see which ones I have! I know I have the cartoon-eyed version, but I don't think I have the lavender castle one...

The baby dragons are adorbs! I have the regular pink Dream Castle version, plus Firey and Flash; I have to admit I'd like the cartoon eyed verson just so he'd match better with the Princess dragons.

When I got my Dream Castle for Christmas, my little sister took Spike.  She took him EVERYWHERE with her.  Spike had to eat with her, sleep in her bed, eat from her plate...  No surprise when I found one years later for my collection, she took him again!

There wasnt ever an HB release of Spike - but perhaps there was a custom or 2 made of him although I cant say I remember seeing one if I am honest.

I need to take a pic of the bottoms of them all to see if there is any difference there. Maybe the lavender version has something different that might make him easier to identify from the original release

I know that Spike can fade, but I am not sure how much he is really prone to fading.
