What I like about these ponies: the articulated waist. They can lie down on their side!

What I don't like: her back shoes (and Glitter Glide's back skates) are permanently attached. It's especially bad for Loop-De-La because she has one ballet shoe with a flat sole and one that has a . . . thing on the bottom. (As pictured.)

The thing on the bottom was necessary because her gimmick was that when you plugged her into her "base", her crown would light up. And the electrical contacts for that were in the "skate" part of her shoe.

I did actually remove the "permanent" skates off her pal Glitter Glide back in the day:

I boiled her legs to loosen the glue, then pulled them off. However, it also meant her crown would never light up again, because I had to cut the wires running through her leg to detach the shoe.

Under the permanent shoes, her feet are hollow. I stuck a spare G3 magnet in one hole, lol.

(It's a little rough around the magnet because I had to cut a bit of plastic out of her foot to make it fit.)

She's a pony, she has four legs - she should thus have four skates. And the crown... it just doesn't look right to me. Not really a fan overall, but I will concede that her colour palette and symbol are pretty.
