Vitamin D is the part of natural sunlight that makes humans happy and healthy.  There is lots of research on all the terrible things that can happen to your body and mind without it. 

Unfortunately we don't get enough sunlight intensity in Canada to provide a healthy level without supplements.

Sounds like I need that too! The UK is quite northerly in latitude as well. What's your latitude or whereabouts are you in Canada?

Hmmm... well, it's 9.31am here in NZ and I've already done three loads of washing. That's a good start to the day in my book! (heavy lifting, bending up and down, body twists as I twirl the clothesline.... and now I can sit on my fat ass  )

Calgary is about the 51st parallel in latitude.

Drank water, helped plant a butterfly garden, turkey bacon BLT on wheat toast for dinner with low sodium V8. I guess I did more than I thought!
