ooh woolcrafting! I do a ton of yarn/woolcrafting. (I even run a knitting podcast xD ) I knit, sometimes crochet, spin, design patterns... I'm about to cast on for a cowl that I'll be pattern testing, for which I dyed the yarn. BC - raw wool is great, but you want to look at what kind of use you want to get out of it. not all wool is suitable for crafting (and some are for some crafts, but not for others). You'll also want to clean it thoroughly before dying it. Dying is so much fun though!
