I play the game through Google Play on my Nook. I need to buy Shining Armor but I'm afraid to buy him before the new update because I've lost ponies in the updates sometimes.

This is what happened to my game, and Gameloft refuses to believe me:

After the update, I received a pop up message on my iPad screen in reference to King Sombra.  Right after the message popped up, the game crashed.  I restarted the game and saw that King Sombra was in my Canterlot inventory, so I cleared a huge space for his castle and rearranged a ton of stuff, then began building his castle.  Right after his castle started to build, my game crashed again!  However after the restart, there was no King Sombra castle building and all the work I'd done rearranging was reverted back to the way it was last week. 

King Sombra is not in my inventory anywhere.  He's not anywhere on my game.  Gameloft is insisting that he is listed in my inventory, and no matter how many messages I send this about this, they literally refuse to acknowledge that there is a glitch in the system.

I am utterly frustrated with this game!!!  Not only that, but it's taken 3 days to create 1 totem and it still says that it needs 1 day and 15 hours to make.  This update has killed my game!!!!!

That is such a weird glitch.  Have you sent screen caps and what not?

Maybe he will just randomly show up again.

the totem sticks on twilight's and the tree totem
pinkies, fluttershy, and aj work no problem.
I had to use gems to free it from twilights, but I'm not doing that with the tree totem b/c it's too many gems

I haven't played my game as much since I heard about the Android update that was supposed to be released sometime this week.  I'm afraid if I buy ponies I might lose them in the update. This new update sounds terrible with all of the problems you guys are having so far.

So, random question, from someone who hasn't played for months and recently got a smart phone upgrade:

Can you have more than one Gameloft ID associated with an Apple ID account? I tried to create a new username on my new phone, but it keeps addressing me by my old account name! I don't mind so much, but will this put my old game (which I spent a lot of time working on!) at risk?

Also, has anyone figured out how to make totems that will put out Loyalty shards? I'll scroll back through the pages after this, but I thought I'd tack it on to my first question anyway.

Its best if I get a tablet because the stupid game eats up soooooooooooo muuuuuuuuuuuch phone memory.

Does anyone have any recommendations on which NON-apple/Ipad stuff tablet I should get for playing MLP again?

I have an iPad and a Kindle Fire and I love the KF! It's a great tablet and the game works great on it.

The update finally happened on Android.  So far it seems pretty fun. I haven't gotten King Sombra yet even though I did a few quests in the Everfree forest.  I'm not having the time or inventory glitches either at this point. Does anyone have the things that make each element stand in the forest yet? I made laughter by just using the first 3 ingredients I had  Thanks to the posts here I knew not to waste too many shards trying to free the tree. 

I think the loyalty recipe is purple mushrooms, garlic and sticky sap. I can double check tomorrow.

Do we actually have to manually update the app? Nothing's happened for me yet. Idek how to do it on the KF tbh.

My game updated automatically. I did get King Sombra this morning but I am now seeing the time glitches that others are seeing. Last night I was making a kindness stand in Zecora's hut and it said the time left was a little over 3 hours.  I opened the game this morning and it says  4 hours and 58 minutes left.  That's a bad glitch. How are we going to get thing done if the game no longer recognizes real time?  I hope Gameloft fixes the time glitch soon. I'm still afraid to get Shining Armor.
