Did anyone else's free gems button disappear? I feel like I won't be able to get cadence now because I can't earn any gems anymore... :/

I don't think I've had a free gem button for a while now. I had to update my game through Google Play but after the update everything was still there and it said I could play the free balloon pop game in 2 hours. I haven't been able to play the free game for a while now because every time I opened the game it reset the timer so it always said 23 hours or 19 hours until I could play.

Yes, all alicorns start out with 5 stars I bought her so I can put her to work getting me pizzas for my quest XP

I saw my first gem in the mine cart game today. It was past the kindness shards. I got the gem but after that I fell in a hole.

I was playing on the 100 coins tier. It was the farthest I've ever made it in the mine. I thought the gems would be after all of the element shards but I was really surprised that I finally saw one.

So I just got the 'welcome the royal guard' quest in ponyville....but the royal guard is a balloon pop pony and there is no option to skip....am I screwed?

I think you have to play the gem balloon pop game to get the royal guard. I know I spent a lot of gems trying to get the option to buy him. He costs a lot of coins. I know the first time I tried to buy him I didn't have enough coins and then I had to spend a lot more gems in the balloon pop to get the chance to buy him again.

Do you use an apple/ios device? Maybe that's why ours is different?

There was a new update recently. Maybe they changed what the Royal guard was? Because I know I bought him for bits in my game....
