TAF Baby Milky Way's Blue Stripe

I finally tracked down MIP TAF Baby Milky Way, I was so excited to get her today! And I was kind of baffled to see that her blue stripe is in front! For some reason I didn't notice it in her picture. The TAF Baby Milky Way I have loose has the stripe in an extra row in the middle of her mane. The MIP version came from Germany - did the Euro TAF babies have some differences from the U.S. ones? I looked her up on Google images and both versions show up. She also has tape around her face, which none of my other MIP TAF babies have besides Baby Love Melody.

Is one version made in China and the other Hong Kong?

Nope, they're both Hong Kong ^^

We didnt get this set MO in Europe. I have seen her with the stripe at the front and the middle in the past - the middle is certainly the most common version and the version with the hair at the front doesnt come up anywhere near as often - the stripe in front version has a bit of a shorter mane if I remember rightly.

The why of the difference I am not sure - they were available a couple of different times in MO I would guess its just a batch thing - the blue in front comes up too often for it to be the odd mistake it must have been a change during manufacture.

I got a MIP one made in Hong Kong, stripe in the middle...

and then a loose one I just got from ebay made in hong kong, stripe in front!!

Now I have the search for the alt version open :-\ lol

I need the one with the blue streak in the middle I do have one with the blue 'forelock' I would trade for it too
