I saw this on a Transformers website, but here is the press release: https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20211012006149/en/
He was only 58, apparently he had been battling cancer. He was the executive producer for the new MLP movie...I hope he saw it as a success before he passed (maybe he had more important things on his mind though). RIP

RIP

RIP :(

Goldner became CEO in 2008, meaning he would have overseen the company through the life and death of the Hub network, MLP's explosion in popularity in the 2010s, and two whole MLP generational shifts! That's a lot just from the MLP side of things.
I'm not a corporate minded person, generally. But this man oversaw some important things. May his memory and legacy be a blessing.

 may his influence continue to grow.

I saw that on the BBC as well. Very sad. Far too young :(

That is a lot! And a lot on the Transformers side of things, too, since the first live action movie came out just around when he would have started. He must have been super busy...I guess that is a given for a CEO, but still.

58 is so young, poor guy. RIP

May he rest in peace.
