It only took me about 3 hours start to finish, which Im pretty proud of. I think she came out really good for a first try. I think I could have done the plugs a little thicker, but it was hard to be sure.
I haven't done her hair style yet, just a starter cut on the mane (which is also damp in the pic). I'd love to hear some input or any tips from those more experienced.

I also intend to reglitter her in a darker shade of blue to match the new hair color.
**EDIT**
My 2nd rehair :P

:o Ooh she looks so good in blue and yellow!
-
Nice! ^.^
Wasn't Majesty supposed to have like darker colors and / or different features? Seems like I read that somewhere on here!
-
Wow she looks really good!! :satisfied: I've always been fond of Majesty but she looks amazing with those colors!
-
She looks great you did a good job on her. I used the floss method the first time I started rehairing. Now its so much easier with a re-rooting tool.
-
She looks very royal in that shade! Well chosen.
-
That gold streak looks amazing!
-
Good job! This looks really neat :) You also chose colors that go very very nicely together ^.^

Thanks everyone! The color choice working so well was really more of a coincidence. I had a few ponies I prepped for rehair, and bought Dollyhair for those, but that blue was just calling to me so I bought it not knowing who Id use it for. Then I got a baity Majesty and it was meant to be!

I feel like this is how Majesty should have been made. This rehair makes me want her, it's just so freaking gorgeous.
-
love the colors and it did come out very nice!
sometimes I can add 2 or 3 plugs worth of hair to each plug. just make sure to do it 1 at a time (I use the Tool Method)
but each pony can be a bit different - some g1s are thinner and you shouldn't put too much in

Thanks!
I do think the colors are pretty perfect
lol I had tried putting in 2 plugs in 1 go (with the tool) and had to give up an re-separate them. Typically the way the dollyhair splits is just a standard plug right? That's what I was going with, the seemingly similar little separate groupings that naturally occurred.
I also noticed something that seemed very strange to me. The entire row on one side (opposite the gold stripe) had VERY few root holes, about 1/2-1/3 as many as what it should have? Is this a Majesty thing? I dont have another one to compare with. I ended up more than doubling the holes on that row of her mane with a larger needle.

Finally got around to doing a little styling, and reglittering :D

So now she's done!

The color really makes her eyes stand out. She's beautiful. :) You did great! I'm too chicken to try. :shy:

Oooh, I really like the dark blue re-glitter to match her mane. Killer job!
-
Really an amazing job! She looks awesome! :ohyeah: :ohyeah:

I love the gold streak. She looks great! :)

She looks fab, well done you!
Have you done her for yourself or is she going to somebody else?

Thanks everyone! I'm really pleased with how she came out :)

I just made her for fun, so I'll keep her for now. If someone really wanted her, I'd let her go :)

She looks gorgeous! I LOVE the golden yellow stripe in her mane. You did a great job!

Was it difficult? I've been considering trying it, but my hands shake, so I haven't. I have done a tail (finally) and that went okay.

I wouldn't say difficult. Tedious- yes.
The most challenging part for me was getting each root strand hooked onto the tool- but it got easier.
Also I was working in dim light, which wasnt ideal but not impossible!

Wow!! She looks so regal! That's an awesome color combo
Great Job!

I am going to do my first rehair as soon as I receive the hair from dolly hair... I'm thrilled. Any advice on how to proceed?

Did you get the rehair tool? I got it with my first dollyhair order and its been super easy to figure out!
It took me until about 1/3 of the way through the first pony to feel like I was getting the hang of it, but the 2nd pony went by quick!!

I'm thinking about the needle and thread method, but I will browse around the net until O get the ponies and the hair, I guess the first one will be harder than the others, unless it's like deflocking which depends on the pony you have ^^
