With so softs i have taken just simple soap and water. The water is maybe warm. Just enough so I am not freezing my hands. I use a thick lather and a very soft brush like a kids tooth brush and gently scrub. I rinse. I always add a cold rinse once all is done. Then pat dry with a soft towel and let the air dry the rest:)

Carefully :)

If the glue is weak or degraded even the most gentle scrub can cause damage so I agree and you need mildly warm water and toothpaste or a gentle soft. Lather it in and rinse. I simply use my fingers in slow circles through the flocking rather than using a toothbrush or similar as I have had that in the past remove the flocking. Leave her to air dry as again you dont want to rub the coat.
Thank you Matcha for my gorgeous Baby Fifi avi

I use cold water, not warm. Warm water can loosen flocking glue :)
