Quick little custom - Lily

I've gotten back in my groove and made this simple lady between waiting for other ponies to dry or bake.

Her inspiration came from two candles sitting on my bookshelf. One has grey wax and the other a pale yellow. They both have outlines of flowers on them too. I thought they looked nice together and decided to make this pony She's meant to be shabby chic, so I painted a few layers of gesso on her first to give the paint some texture. The paint was put on quickly to leave broken brush lines and give her an overall look of being worn. The yellow dots were done with a Q-Tip.

Her eyes are terrible! I need to practice. All my eye knowledge has left my brain and hand

Her eyes are great!!! Also, as a whole she's lovely!!! I particularly like how she takes TAF to a whole new level, but still looks so great!!!

I love ponies inspired by random things you see around you She's lovely! And the eyes are just fine, although she looks a bit frightened. If you still feel like reworking them, or just save the tip for future reference, I'd make sure no eye white is visible at the top. Thinking again, this look kind of fits her antique feel. The eyes of painted antique figurines are not always perfect either

Beautiful Lily!  I really like her colors and that she is covered in floral patterns!

I love how the hair matches the color scheme so well, it looks like the designs are flowing off her and into the hair! Nice design work!
