I think i may be about to have a heart attack.. my dad just bought me a six hundred dollar doll :shocked: visitors can't see pics , please register or login
she's very old and very rare. more :shocked: I had one when i was small. it was not mint or complete like this one. I let my grandmother keep it because she liked it so much. after she passed, My grandfather sold it to my uncle about three years ago with out telling me. I've regreted it but never said anything Then i come in today and dad informs me he bought this. I NEVER should have shown the man how to use ebay. The guy who lets me have it because i had to drive to G-town to work for one day.. bought me a six hundred dollar doll. even more :shocked: and men say that they don't understand women. still I am happy to have her comming. She is sad looking but one of my faves. more on this as it develops. RP

Wow, that's one depressing looking little doll! I don't know anything about dolls, but she certainly is unique looking (I think that's a good thing).
He's probably glad you had a good relationship with your grandmother and this is his way of expressing himself. :blush:

Yah she is sad looking but is made of a very lovely vynal that really looks like porcaline and i think shes cute.. shes got that big eyed moppet look from like elf quest or something. and yah probably so.. Bless his old heart.

My Dad keeps on switching the internet cables around so it doesn't work in my room and I have to ask him every time I want to use it. Bless his old heart :drunk:

I'm still kinda in shock... but he maintains that it wasnt right for my grandfather to yank the rug out from under me that way.. so hes getting me one that no one can mess with. that and i think he kinda wants to stick it to my grandfather(they dont get along ... trouble at moms funeral.. drama.. ugh) but i think he mostly just wants me to have it.. hes the one thats always encouraged my love of dolls. you have to love those old dudes( dads) . your alls sound pretty fantastic too!
mine says that its a good hobby and i could be doing things with my spare cash a lot less healthy than buying cute lil bits of plastic. so yah im happy... a lil freaked .. but happy. thanks for all the great comments! when she gets here I will post pics. I need to do a l il repair work on her box.. but other than that she even has the original ties.. thanks again guys! RP

Oh wow, that is amazing! I've seen some out of box Little Miss No Names from dolly collectors on Flickr but never seen her in box! That's so great of your dad to buy her for you :D My dad would just think it's a waste of money :lol: (Which I obviously don't.) Congrats!
