Phew! This girl has been a long time coming, and the wonderful AssassinKitty (who is this pony's new owner) has been exceedingly patient and wonderful while I worked my way through this pony and grad school.

The usual nonsense on this girl, sculpted with apoxie, painted with acrylics. The stunning gradient hair was dyed by Colorscapesart, who totally came to my rescue with that. My favorite part of this pony is her hair pins, which were made with resin and look like little wrapped hard candies. Anyway, pictures!

that is one delicious pony! *drool* and I LOVE her hair!! the thing that makes me really go "oooooh" is (stupidly enough) how her hair is mixed so well with white.
HOW is that done to make the blend so... blendy? :P
Especially in the tail, my blends always get sort of chunky. like the strands don't want to mix and if I try to mix it it just tangles. :(

I wish I could take credit for that blend, heh. The hair actually came that way. CSA dyed some white hair in the rainbow gradient and for some unknown reason some of the strands didn't take the dye. I love the effect though!

Gah she's gorgeous NoD! I remember seeing CSA's thread about the weird white non-dying problem, but omg it looks really amazing in those ringlets and with the rest of this girl's design! Way to use an oops to your biggest advantage, it looks so stunning. And those little candy hair pins *__* they are so adorable! The sculpting on the saddle is just jaw-dropping, all those little details! I really like the color behind all the little candies too, it's really nice backdrop color without blending into the white of the pony but still pale enough to let everything else stand out too. AK is one lucky girl, what a beautiful custom! :heart:
