A friend and I did our first raid on Sunday. It ended up being the 2 of us and 1 other player against a Machamp. We were able to win and catch the Machamp after!
My friend was really excited because Machamp was the last he needed to complete the Gen 1 pokedex with the exception of what's not been released and the country exclusives.

Well, the event ends today. What did you all think?
I liked this event a lot more than the last two. I finally caught an Aerodactyl! I never thought I'd get one. I caught Omanyte and Shuckle for the first time as well. Along with catching enough Omanytes to evolve it. Also finally got enough candy to evolve Steelix, Golem and Magcargo. I caught enough Rhyhorns to have a good stash of candy to power up my Rhydon for awhile. I don't think it had anything to do with the event but I caught a Cyndaquil too. Now I have all 3 generation 2 starters.

On my 7th day spin on Sunday, I got a King's Rock, and then not even an hour later I spun and got a second metal coat! So now I have both Steelix and Scizor. I figured I'd go for Slowking before Politoed, but then I realized I've always carelessly transferred away my extra Slowpokes and this one is kind of a bad IV so I'm waiting for a better one. Urgh.
I walked my stupid Grimer 99.5 KM in total and finally got Muk. Was that difficult for anyone else? He spawned once and I hatched one and had to walk him the rest of the way. SO GLAD THAT'S OVER.
That's a lot of walking. I don't even have a grimer yet. I've seen him come up on radar once. But was never able to find it to catch.

I'll buy incubators for the rare occasions I have a 10k egg. Which means I'm usually only walking 1 egg at a time. Getting into gyms is hard around me so gold is hard to come by. And I try not to put too much real money into the game.

Congratulations on finding Chansey! How close are you to the Ohio/Pennsylvania border? Great Northern Mall is a Porygon spawn spot currently. I was able to catch 2 on Saturday.

Yup. It seems to spawn near the Sprint store. But I also found one near the Dicks.

Caught a few Chansey this weekend. Still never saw a Porygon, so I don't think I'll be getting one. Oh well. At least I finally got Chansey.

After not getting any 10k eggs since October I got 2 this weekend. One hatched today and it was Chansey! I was so excited to see it. I can't wait to see what's in the second. It was a good weekend. I got enough candy to finally evolve Tad Cooper my Charmeleon into Charizard

I'm hoping I'll finally get a Chansey during the Valentine's event.
I'm only a little mad that my husband hatched two Chansey within one month of playing and I haven't even seen one in the 7 months I've been playing. 
I'd love to get Chansey too. I've never seen one either. I caught 3 lickitung today. And come across a lot of Jigglypuff and exeggcute.

Had a good pokemon weekend. I have enough candy to evolve Sandshrew now. I was able to evolve my Mankey and Vulpix. And thanks to the magnikarp respawing at the zoo I need less than 100 candies to go to evolve it. Today I finally caught not one but two Jinx! I'd never encountered one in the wild before so it was surprising to get two in one day. My pokedex is up to 119 caught and 135 seen now.
The only disappointing thing is after hatching 5 more eggs this weekend I still haven't gotten any of the babies.

Highest level gym I attacked on my own? A level 7 gym. Spent my entire lunch break doing it because the building beside where I work is a gym and I had revives to waste. 
Wow, awesome! I wish revives were more common now. I should probably start saving them up in preparation for my battle-a-powerful-gym day. Come to think of it, I've heard that if you power up a fainted Pokémon it revives them. I might do that, since some of my attackers are worth stardust and are currently fainted, poor things (fire and electric types, low HP is a bummer!). I hope that actually works.

I wished stops would give out more revives. It used to be I'd throw away revives because I'd have too many. Now I can't battle in gyms because I'm still waiting to get enough revives to restore my best fighters.
Awesome, congrats! I hope I see a Charizard in the wild during this event. I plan on evolving my own, but I just think it would be cool to run into one, too. My sister saw a Charmeleon tonight, at least, which we've evolved ourselves but never seen in the wild. And I hear you on the revives!!
Thanks! And I just tried the reviving by powering up thing you were writing about. It works! I was able to revive my Gengar. I'd never heard of that so thanks for posting about it!

The vibration problem is happening to me to, good to know they are working on it.
I went to the zoo with a friend yesterday and caught a Dragonite! Also caught a Clefable. Two new to me pokemon in one day so that was good. Also caught a bunch of magikarp, now I'm over halfway to evolve it.
I've got 7 eggs right now. Hopefully I can get 2 eggs at a pokestop soon. I never played the generation 2 games so these are mostly new to me.
I saw the Santa hat Pikachu in my sightings but wasn't able to find it. Has anyone caught it?

I got a shiny Rowlet through the GTS! This is my first shiny pokemon. She's so pretty.

 Holding the stone does nothing, silly! You have to USE the stone from your bag!!
 Well that explains why that didn't work. Wow, I feel like a dumbass.  Thank you. I'm off to properly evolve my other eevees.
