Great job! Despite that green dye :rolleyes:. I love her name and theme...her symbol reminds me of the Mexican Star pinata I made in my 8th grade Spanish class.
About that neon green dye: I recently googled something about neon dyes and came across this article that I thought was interesting, and you probably will too...it explains why we both had that blueish scum around the pot when using the neon dye. There are limited ways to dye cotton with neon colors. Only yellow is available as a reactive dye for cotton.
When mixed with other non-neon shades, the neon effect becomes weaker or vanishes, although fluorescent lime green shades can be achieved by incorporating a small bright turquoise shading component. Fluorescent colors on cotton can also be achieved by dyeing pre-treated garments with basic dyes. However, these products appear to be only a very tiny part of the market.
