Title: Can you insert a G4 tail without taking the neck plug off?

Hi here! Question is in the subject... is it possible to do this? This is my first time trying to reroot a pony and I am struggling with removing the neck plug. Is there a way around this some how? Thank you!

Mandapanda does in a few videos. You can cut the original tail short and push the washer to the inside of the body, and then insert your new tail with glue. The pony may rattle depending, but it gets the job done.

I have used a drill to remove the tail completely before!
