So I have the chance to get a custom pony kigu (think 'costume onesie pajamas') but I can't decide which of my three favorite ponies to get.
-I love Chief but white doesn't stay white forever and bronies most likely won't recognize him.
-I love Waterfire but she's also much less likely to be recognized and she's an exception to my usual favorite color schemes. She's also my online mascot.
-I love Firefly, she's nostalgic and most likely to be recognized but she's a huge exception to my entire aesthetic since I have never been fond of pink. She's also been 'my' pony between me and my sister since we were little.
Which do I get? Which will I enjoy most, and/or what would you choose?

I voted for Waterfire! I wouldn’t worry too much about who bronies might recognize, since you should pick a pony that will make you happy! :) even so, Waterfire did have a blind bag release so she might have a teeny bit of recognition!

I voted Waterfire, she has a fantastic colour scheme, and if it's one of your faves I think you probably won't regret it? ^^ :lovey:
Like you said, white doesn't stay white - especially not fleece as it can pill a lot, so chief would get greyish pretty fast I think. If you were going to just wear it around the house maybe white would work but I take it it's going to be worn at cons, too?
Out of the three, I would have picked Firefly, but that's 100% down to me liking pink better than blue xD If you don't enjoy pink, totally go for the other two, but I'm voting Waterfire :)

Who cares if bronies recognize it? I mean what difference do they make? It is for you to feel happy and show off your tastes, so I vote waterfire since that is the pony I think of in conjunction with you haha

This was my reaction too. I don't see what it has to do with them if you're spending the money. If you are planning on wearing it somewhere bronies are, you can just educate them :D
Spiritually you seem like a Waterfire to me :)

Waterfire is the most Khoufu Brand so my guess is you'd go with her, but ultimately it's your decision! I think she's one of the slightly more recognizable G3, although she is definitely nowhere near Minty status. People who might have a somewhat more than passing knowledge of G3 may appreciate it.

Thanks for your input, folks. I'll most likely opt for Waterfire, as she is lovely and I'd be more likely to stick out to Arena members, if any show up to Babscon or any other pony con I may go to. She's kind of become my mascot in lieu of an OC.

personally i vote firefly. but its your taste you have to be happy with your fav.
anyways i also have this thing, if i can't decide...get them all :P

I guess it's easy to see how we visualise you, Khoufu xD.
I say go with whichever you are more comfortable with, but I definitely think Waterfire is the most you.

Dont care too much what others think or recognize :)
I personally would pick Firefly! G1 have always been closest to me, so thats why Id chose her. But thats only me :) In the end, you want to wear it so you should pick whats most comfortable to you <3
Chief would be great too but as you already said, it might go grey after a while :/ Waterfire is supercool either ! From what I see from you, Waterfire is the closest to you from the bunch, right? If so, Id defenitely get that one :D

You can't go through life worrying about what random strangers will think about you. Most likely you will never see those people again, so don't let their (possible) opinions impact on your life. I agree with the majority here: I voted for Waterfire as she seems the most fitted for you as we know you. However you must choose the costume that you would feel happiest in and that you enjoy the most, even if it does not correspond with what the vote says here :)

I'm a fan of the classics, voted Firefly. There's something about her on G1 art that looks pretty good!

I vote for Firely!
I've had not one, but TWO panda kigurumis, so I strongly advise against white (Chief). It's very hard to keep clean >_< Waterfire is indeed a very rad pony, but not the most recognizable. I think if you go with Firefly, more people will understand your costume right away and say, "Oh, she's a My Little Pony!" rather than, "She's a blue horse...errr..unicorn?"

Since so many people have pony sonas, anyway, Waterfire does make sense. I do love Firefly (my Firefly army rivals my Waterfire army) but she's so popular it would feel less personal and more of a conversation starter.
I suppose what I've really been debating is having a conversation starter vs the closest thing I have to an OC (I have my own personality for her cuz she was never on screen).
