Teal German Baby Sea Pony?

Just a side question: does anyone own a water color sea pony that still truly works? I've seen some that somewhat work, but never one that fully changes. Has anyone ever open a moc one and tried? (Gasps I know, not recommending it but you know how things are sometimes)

I have one that fell off her card in transit, so she was essentially new off card when I got her. I haven't tried to change her, though...I haven't done anything with her except display her. Now I am curious...but after so many years (and after what, 15 years loose in my cupboard?) chances are she doesn't change any more.
