We set the Pony section on 7/31! The Royal Ball is actually new at our store, we got a full brand new box in today - 8/6.

For the plushies, there's 12 in a box I believe. Rainbow dash, pinkie pie, and twilight sparkle. That's it though, 4 of each in a box. We got a very small amount of this stuff too. 2 castles, one set of bridesmaids, one box of plushies, etc.

I'll let you guys know if anything else pops up! c: I have the castle too, but that's sort of old news for me, since I got mine off of Hasbro about two weeks ago. It's sitting in a box next to my shelving unit. :p
As for the wedding singles, usually we get two boxes of each wave. Now, we've just gotten the second box of wave 1 (for this year) last week...so fingers crossed for Lyras, and Berries, and Trixies, OH MY! (I'm sorry, I couldn't resist!)

I should add the following;
3 FS sets came in one box, two had defects. They were small, but who wants Shining Armor with dirt on his nose? Not me!
4 Bridal Friends came in one box, one of each. That seems pretty stingy to me! Especially since I had to open up Rarity and wipe (what looked like poop) off of her nose. :/
I believe 8 Rainbow Sets came in one box, for the glittery BBs.
6 Glimmer Wings sets came in one box, three of each.
10 of the adventure packs came in one box: 4 of Cadence/Shining Armor, 3 of Rainbow Dash and her Griffin "pal", and 3 of the Apple family.
And then like I said, 12 plushies came in one box with four of each pony.
Also, we have trading cards hiding somewhere, I haven't tracked them down yet...might be up on a pallet with the castle sets.

Just picked up FS SA and Cadence and the Pony Rainbow Collection at my Target! They were already on the floor too which I thought was weird but it saved me from having to ask for help xD

Are you sure it wasn't just a "set" date? A hard street date would mean that they wouldn't be out anywhere until the 29th, which hasn't been the case. It would be odd if just certain Targets had "hard" street dates.

Nope, some of them had a "set" date which is different, and in actuality we're always supposed to be a week ahead with our work loads.

I was able to get FS Cadance and Shining Armor and the 3 mini figure sets on Monday.
I went to a different Target after work today and got the set with Glimmer Wings Sweet Song. They said they didn't have the Rainbow Collection... I'll have to go stalk another Target in my area this weekend and try to find that and the Castle.
It's so exciting all these new things coming out! :frolic:

ditto, that's why I didn't even bother... cause I've sold off anything not MIB g4 releated... of course not the blind bags... now I just need those and a ditzy doo... cause I clearly missed the boat on that one :/

I caught the very end of the boat, lol. Nabbed a Ditzy for 55 dollars...which is still crazy, but it was the least expensive of what I saw. My BB ponies are all in organized Rubbermaid snap-shut containers. xD I'm a bit of a neat freak...

I got an email from the site I pre-ordered them from today saying Hasbro has been a bit backed up lately, but they should be receiving their shipments of them next week!

Thanks sooooooooooooooooo much for this info! I was able to go to my Target tonight and give some of the DPCIs to a helpful associate. As tempting as it would've been to get all the new stuff, I wound up just getting a set of three plush plus the glimmer wings set with Sweet Song and Fluttershy. Had the adventure pack ## listed too, but they claimed they did not have those. I leave for vacation this Sat-Fri, and likely will not be close to a Target, so I'm glad to have at least gotten what I did (especially the plushies, as I figured they might go fast!).
Hope everyone gets what they are looking for! :good: When I get back, I'll likely swing by again and see what's all still available.

I picked them all up at my Target (in Westminster) today, thank you for the DCPIs! They only had 3 sets of the FS total, so hurry!

Everything but the Wedding Castle says available (limited availability for the castle), so my fingers are crossed I'll find something after work. It's 11pm right now, so 11 more hours to go. :work:

Thanks so much for the codes! :) I wrote down a few of them and went to my Target today. They had just put out the mane six wedding singles, but that was it. I was so scared to ask someone, lol. But I finally found a nice looking guy and asked him if he could find some items for me. I gave him the list of three codes (FS SA and CA, trading cards, and plush) and he went to the back and brought out two unopened boxes! Direct from Hasbro! :biggrin:
He opened them up for me and gave me a SA and CA set! Acually, he tried to give me all three, but I only wanted one. Then he opened the plush box! I pulled out 5 plushes (1 Twilight, 2 Dash, and 2 Pinkie). All three for me, and one for each of my sisters who are away at camp. And OMG those plushes are teeny tiny! They are the size of a FS pony! :shocked:
He also said the store didn't have any of the trading cards yet, which is understandable. I thanked him and went to purchase my ponies. I was also looking for a baby sweetie belle for my cousin's b-day, but the store didn't have any.
Well, I now have -$20 in spending money. Yeah, I kinda splurged it all at pony fair. :P

I checked the codes for my local stores. The castle and FS CD and SH were limited but the others were listed as available. I'm going to check tomorrow at the local Target here then again at my hometown one. Hope I can find them!

Just got back from Target. I was all set with my little paper full of DCPI codes, but when I got there everything was out on the floor already!! :frolic: I've never seen one of my local Targets put stuff out before the date! My cart wasn't as full as it was the first day of the Canterlot line, but I pulled a respectable haul, heh heh.
Update: FS Cadance is an absolute darling!! I think I love her even more than her regular sized version. SA is meh, but, of course, I can't separate them ;)

I went to two more Targets today with my grandma. I got a glimmer wings pack, the adventure packs, the rainbow collection, and some trading cards. I had to ask a Target employee to get them from the back and had to give them the codes. After I picked out what I wanted they put the remaining stock in the MLP aisle. I gave him the code for the trading cards but he said they don't keep track of those, and he thought there were some "floating around" in the trading card section. Of course I found some later when I was checking out. Again, thanks so much for the codes! Target employees are so nice! :)

Nothing new stocked yet here. I talked to a couple employees who were arranging toys next the MLP section and I asked them if they had any in the back. They said they were unsure but did get a new shipment. Everything in the toy aisle was in transition phase, so that means there ARE new toys coming.
I checked all the DCPIs on their site though and it said everything was either available or limited availability, yay. Just not sure if they are putting stuff on shelves on Sunday/Monday or if they're waiting for more room to clear on the shelf.

Just came back from my Target in Houma, Louisiana.
They didn't have the three figure packs, but they had the rainbow collection. The nice lady at Target said they were going to put it on the shelves. While waiting, I figured I would get a drink at their little cafe. The lady came up to me and brought me the toy and checked it out at the cafe :lol:

I checked at my Target Wednesday night and the employee called up the info and was able to confirm that they had 3 of the FS Cadence/Shining Armor but didn't have a location listed in the back area. She thought they were still on the pallet. She told me they would probably be out by end of Monday.

My target had it all in the back:D I didng want to be a pain but just asked this nice guy when they were resetting and he offered to go get me one of each:D He said they're resetting this Sunday and they only had about 1 case of each thing. I got the castle, glimmer wings, fashion cadence and SA and the rainbow minis:D

Eeee, they put out the pony toys today! I grabbed a FS set and the Cloudsdale minis. They also have the wedding singles, and a microphone you can connect to your MP3 player. I didn't see the castle but they probably are just waiting for more shelf space to put it out.

one target I went to had all the new stuff out. they also had a mlp microphone that you connect to the ipod and sing kareoke or something. It plays the full MLP theme song and 1 or two others

It's really weird because the last FS set (with Luna and Celestia) was meant to be Target exclusive to USA only as well and yet it turned up in our Targets too, but this swap from Target to Big W for the new FS set? I hope it's true because Big W has better prices! lol :P

It depends what Hasbro and the retailer agree to as well as where the retailer decides to carry the line...there are different choices.
1) Worldwide exclusivity - this means the retailer has the exclusive right to sell the product only at their stores and the manufacturer/supplier can not sell that product into other markets and to other retailers [whether the original retailer trades in these other countries or not]. Sometimes this means a multinational retailer carries the product in all their stores across the globe and sometimes it means a retailer has taken the right to the product but wishes to stock it only in one or a few select countries. This looks, at the moment, to be what TRU are doing with the collectors lines - exclusive to TRU US only.
2) National exclusivity - this means a retailer has the exclusive right to the product in the markets where they actually compete. This allows the manufacturer/supplier to sell the same product to other retailers in markets where the original retailer does not trade. We have seen this with some of the Target Canterlot items which were out in Canterlot in the US and Aus but then have turned up in Tesco in the UK - these are not the same retailer but we do not have Target stores. It should be noted that national exclusivity can also cover cases where a retailer has the right to product exclusivity only in one particular country - so perhaps Target have the US exclusivity over an item but they have not paid or requested for the exclusive right to that product in other countries. This happened in G3, where TRU had a US exclusive item but that item when released in other countries suddenly showed up in other retailers, even if TRU were trading in that country.
Personally if there has been a pattern of Target Aus getting the US lines and these items have been successful for Target in Aus then whether Target have maintained exclusivity for Australia or not I hope for you that they turn up :) In Target or elsewhere.

I am getting soooo frustrated with mynlocal Target! For the past 3 days I have been going in everyday because it says on their site they have them in stock, and whenever I call they confirm they have them. But whenever I go in perso. All I see are almost empty isles! And there is no one in the isles, I have to go walking foreeever to find someone. And then all they tell me is that they won't go in back to see if they have them, and to check next week. I think I'll go bang my head against the wall for a while now:P

I think my Target might finally be making some headway. They had the plushies out today when I went in (bought the Rainbow Dash plushie). They also had tags on the shelves for the new items. When I asked them about it they told me tocheck back tomorrow, so fingers crossed!

My target was barren as usual, the target down the road had everything out though! I got all 3 plushies, the rainbow thing of bb sized ponies, the two glimmer wings 2 packs, and the FS shining armor and cadence pack! I had a dad and little girl both staring at me like I was a moron while I grabbed one of everything, lol

I went to my Target yesterday, and they still had nothing on the shelves. (Just, like, one or two of the mane 6, a FS fluttershy, and a few trains). They did have the cards though. Had to awkwardly stand next to this odd guy having a mumbled rant to himself about the Magic cards to grab some though, lol. I tracked down a poor overwhelmed employee and had him check DCPI numbers for me. I'd checked online ahead of time and it said that store had everything, but he was only able to find the 3-packs of mini-figures in the system. So he kindly brought those out from the back for me. Yay Target employees :) Guess I'll have to check back later for the other stuff, but since my "local" Target is almost an hour away, it'll probably be a few weeks. Did snag white Celestia at TRU though. Wow she is so much prettier than the pink one!

I hit 3 Targets yesterday, but came away with only a few sets of plushies and one FS Cadance/SA. It seems I have competition in my area with getting stuff from the back now; one guy said he'd had several requests for them that day. And apparently it can take until the next day for the inventories to reflect what has sold that day, so that could be why the website said they were available when they weren't. I'm not sure if the guy who said that was pulling my leg, though, because at the place where I found my lone FS set the guy there was able to tell me that they had 2 somewhere in the store (I assume the 2nd one, as well as one mini set) was in someone else's cart because I could not find them.
Update: Okay, according to the website the only store within 20 miles of me that is sold out of the FS set is still the one where I bought 3 of them last week. Something fishy going on here... Might be time to go back and check those stores again.

Looks like it =/ Each store resets at its own discretion on its own time, so the time new stuff actually gets put out is gonna vary widely. Plus it depends on how much stuff they still have to clearance out. I've been to a few stores with completely empty shelves, but also a few where they still are fully stocked on Canterlot even though it's on clearance. Gonna try again tonight though. The only things I still need are the glimmer wings and the glitter set.

Our Target had the Plushies, Cadence and SA, and Wave 1 Blind Bags as part of the reset. There were empty spots on the shelves so hopefully they are not done with stocking the shelves!

My sicky self went to check some targets out yesterday and absolutely nothing, dropped in today really fast since my target is 2 minutes away and although they had multiple mane 6 singles, they only new thing was the Glimmer Wing packs.
Looks like this could take a little while :D

First went to the Target in Oaks, PA and they had a lot of holes in the aisle. Was able to pick up a Rainbow Dash plush and the SA/Cadence pack. Gave an employee the DCPI number and she said they were looking to reset last night but they hadn't received all of their shipments. She very nicely checked the other stores in the area for me on the little RF gun they carry around. Went to Malvern Target and they had them in the back. The guy who got them for me was very thankful for the numbers and he was able to get me the other two blind bag three packs along with the crystal empire set which looks so much cooler in person!

Grrrr, I am sooooo annoyed with my local store. I have been going in everyday for almost a week. Since about Saturday hey say they have the new products in stock, but not out in the isles yet. So i keep asking if they'll check in back. They always tell me no. Well today I was at the customer service desk asking again that they go in back and check. The lady is on her walkie talking to the person in the toy section, and I clearly hear the lady say that I was bugging her about the ponies 5 minutes ago, and she doesn't "feel" like checking in back, and to just tell me their sold out. I don't think they knew I was within hearing, but tomorrow I'm talking to a manager.

I was several hours from home today, so while I was out I stopped by a Target in the area. The shelves were barren, but I took my list of DCPI numbers to a lady who was working in the toy section. She punched the first couple numbers into her little price gun thingy and told me that they were probably all in the back, and offered to go check for me. She and another associate came out a few minutes later with an armload of pony goodness each! :P So, aside from the rest of the blind bags, I've managed to get everything I was looking for, although none of it was on the shelves. I have nothing but good things to say about the Target employees I've dealt with so far :)

Went to Target yesterday evening with a pocketful of money hoping to grab some new ponies from the toy reset but all they had was FS Fluttershy and a couple of the Mane 6. They FINALLY got the trading cards but the box was empty. Why do you never give me ponies Target? D|
As for the MLP Canterlot Princesses Collection...I have no idea what that is o-O Maybe it's the giant Canterlot castle set with the bajillion accessories and Shine Bright Luna? But that goes under a different name...I really have no idea what that is.

I found some items today!!
None of the targets in my area had anything new out and many had empty shelves and were stocking the superhero sections. I wasn't going to ask even though I double checked using the scanner...but then I was asked if I needed help so I gave the codes for the adventure packs and plushes.
They were super helpful and nice, so I was able to grab one of each and then some trading cards I found at the front!
I absolutely cannot leave the plushes alone. I love their size and they are actually pretty cute <3
Overall: Purdy Happy.

I got an extra pack of Sweet Song & Fluttershy today, which only left the one pack where Sweet Song has a huge black mark on her nose. x.x Anyway, I unboxed them and they are so pretty! I really prefer the Crystal Empire wings over the standard glimmer wings.

My Target had limited stock today, but a little of everything! :D
Bridle friends, FS Cadence and Shining Armor, the mini figures, the plushies, Crystal Rainbow set, Castle, Glimmer Wing double packs and I think that's it. I just bought the sparkle set but I'm sincerely tempted by the Castle!
So amazing to see new stuff in the pony section again. :D

she's a Novi Star doll! This is Una, and her body is transparent and filled with water and glitter! they are really adorable, have 'real' eyelashes and cute elf ears. there's a thread about them in the dollhouse as well

Success! <3 I got the castle and the Sweet Song/Fluttershy set, but they've got SO much stuff. I'm going to have to wait until pay day to get more (thankfully, that's on Friday). I'd really like the miniature sets. I like the Crystal Empire mane 6 set with Emerald Ray, but frankly I could do with just getting him. :)

Its possible but it would be odd for them to suddenly bring that same item back if they have not cleared out if it in stores - or perhaps the fact they are bringing it back is the reason it didnt make it to clearance?

Its the Princess part combined with the Canterlot element that is throwing me off as well. Its probably just going to be as Rhini said and a repacked Canterlot set but we can have fun speculating in the mean time I guess.

Last year they had the Princess FS exclusives, this year they have Cadance & SA FS exclusives - that kind of thing. I do wonder [and hope as it would be super cute] that they will indeed have another "6 pack" of ponies but this time they will be transparent and glittery...:)

Target had the same DCPI for both the Gloom Beach and Skull Shores MH 5 packs right? And the Gloom Beach started reappearing right before the Skull Shores one came out. Maybe there is a new exclusive 6 pack on the way. I mean there were those see through ponies that popped up on TaoBao.

Hooray!!!! I've been to my closest target twice in the last few days hunting plushies and rainbow blind bags with no luck. I was even starting to freak out because the website said they were sold out online and not available in stores (THAT was confusing, since I knew folks were buying them!) but finally it looks like they're in stock AND my anniversary is Friday and my husband still has to get me a gift . . . soooooo, guess where we're going tomo-rrow! :frolic: :frolic:

I got my FS SA and Cadence, Talking Cadence, Baby Spike, the Wedding Castle and Sweetsong Glitterwing from Target and Hasbro Toy Shop. I stopped at my local Target where they finally stocked the wedding toys only to find out that they still do not have the mini sets even though they have spots for them and that someone practically wiped out the little plushies. I really wanted RD and she was all gone. Just 2 Pinkie Pies and one Twilight Sparkle left. for $5 I thought those plushies would at least be twice as big.
Has Target been carrying the blindbags anywhere or is it just TRU and Walmart? Mine has never had them. I am still hoping to come across wave 3. Wave 4 was the first to show up in my Walmart.

My Target did have the blind bags, but everywhere I go they only have the pink series with the castle on it. I'm looking for the series that is in the purple bags! Argh!!! I thought the pink bags were done and the purple were going to be arriving. Shows what I know.

I found the purple bags at my local Wally World. Unfortunately my eyes were going through an allergy attack so I couldn't really decode the numbers and just grabbed 5 random bags. I did manage to get glow in the dark Rarity though! :frolic:

I have built up an "immunity" to long drives, I'd say. I drive almost an hour to work in Creve Couer every day to work. It sucks, I'll admit. I'm trying to transfer out to Washington which is ten minutes away but my luck has just been awful! So a drive from the city to Washington....it's just an average day's drive to me! :lol:
I am sure they will show up in the city soon. I didn't expect the pony department to have exploded over the past few days since I last visited. It will be worth the wait when you find them. They are stunning!

I found one box at my local Walmart, picked up the 10 bags I wanted most...and then the next day, *POOF* no more ponies left. Haven't seen any purple bags since!

D: I managed to get Bitta Luck, Glowy Pinkie Pie, Sea Swirl, Glowy Twilight, Apple Dazzle, Lovestruck, Meadow Song, Glowy Rarity, Lyra, and Lucky Dreams. The same employee is working in toys every time I go, and he actually offered to check the back for me without me asking the last time I was there! Our blind bags never make it to the back though, I see the guy have them on the palette, and then straight to the shelf. At least here, if you get to walmart around 10:30pm, that's when they're stocking toys at the two walmarts near me, and I look at the palette for the boxes marked "hasbro mlp" and if I see one that i can't figure out, I google the number on the sides on my phone, and ask if they'll let me in it if it's something I need. They're usually really nice about it because it's less they have to stock.

I feel like a weirdo too, walking down the pony aisle almost every day. I'm usually just curious to see what's been snapped up. Today we still had both FS sets, like 6 castle sets...Trixie, Sunny, & Cherry, some plushies. It's like no one around here like ponies. xD Well, I take that back- Walmart is always emptied out.

Will they let you return them if they are already open? I didnt think they would do that...you learn something new every day.
I haven't opened them yet! I just know who they are based on the codes.

My Target appears to have gotten rid of the pony section! Was there this afternoon, and the toy department has been all shuffled around, but no ponies in sight. Asked an employee who said he was new, but he checked with his little scanner thingy. I didn't really understand what he said about whether or not they had any stock in the back, but I mentioned that things had been clearenced. He told me that everything had been sold, then, and to check clearence for whatever might be left. Nothing.
I hope that the ponies will return once the toy department settles down, but I don't even see empty pegs where they'd go.

Which state is this in? I have totally been stalking my Target. XD It's on the other side of town, about 20-30 minutes away, but until today I've been going that way anyways for college classes...:/ Now I'm like, "Nuuu! The new ponies will all turn into pegasus and fly away!"
Seriously...The lady at the register actually asked the other day, "You found another pony?" :P Guess she recognized me from last week.
