Crayola crayons.... I love those!!  Funny, I've been collecting them for years but forgot to include them in my list of other collections. 

Ooh!  Do you have all the old packs with discontinued colors?  I have a box of retired colors because I was sad to see a few of my favorite colors go.  Yet, I can never use them because they are retired.  I don't collect them, but I still keep that set!

As for shipping, dear partner I will likely be shipping after 12th September but I will try not to wait too long.  It kind of depends on if I can get the one elusive extra by then or not.

I think I only have one or two boxes that have never been opened, so I'm not a mint collector, but yes... I do have several of the old boxes.  My collection is up high in a cool cupboard where the kids can't get to it, but off the top of my head I have Silver Swirls, Color Slicks, Glow-in-the-dark yellow, Glow-in-the-dark orange, glitter crayons, multi-cultural crayons, scented, an American-themed box... that's all my tired brain can remember atm.  It was one of those accidental collections.  I don't have a ton, but what I have are special to me.

I am getting an accidental extra for my partner because one of the ponies I bought had a flaw that the seller didn't notice when she listed it.  This lovely seller doesn't have the same pony, unfortunately, but is willing to let me choose another one in the same price range OR return for a full refund.  I am going for option #1.

Lock Ness!  I love colors.    And Crayola too!  i collect them also.  I have an olllld set.  They're not in great condition, but that's okay; they look cool on my shelf.  That was back when "peach" was called "flesh". 

And I confess....I ate one of the treats I got early on in an over eager puppy moment.

I understand why they no longer call "peach" "flesh", but I miss having a "flesh" crayon in the bunch.  It sounds so sinister!  I also miss Indian Red.  Which in my opinion had something to do with India and the beautiful henna reds they are fond of.  I thought it was a nice name because it is the color of henna and red Indian spices!   So beautiful.

Pretty sure I missed out on having a "flesh" crayon, but I do remember Indian Red.  It's interesting what comes to mind for each of us when we think of certain colours.  For me, Indian Red always conjured up images of the red clay we used to dig up on the playground at recess.

Haha!  It does, actually.    It was changed in the 60s, I beliive, so my box is from there or before.  Indian Red was changed much more recently; when I was an adult.  And Crayola said that the India hues were the reason they named that crayon that color!

That reminds me when I was little I told my mom, "Why are we called white? We're not white, we're peach!" and I showed her the peach crayon compared to the white crayon Though I must admit, I rarely get any sun (not an outdoors person!) so I'm more the color of the white crayon than the peach now
