I had family in all last week and I've been sick for almost a month now, but then by Sunday I totally crashed.  Went to the doctor and I have pneumonia.  Yay me.  Been home from work all week (except Tuesday, when I thought I could make it through a day and was very mistaken) and I was finishing up my ornament yesterday.  Got into a coughing fit, grabbed for the saucepan that I've been coughing into (gross, I know), and sent the ornament to the floor.  And of COURSE it shattered.    I have started something new, but I'm totally disgusted.  It had turned out so pretty and I hadn't taken pics yet because it wasn't quite done.  UGH!!!!!!!  Mine's going international, but I'll try to send it express if it's not too pricey so it still makes it for Christmas.

Today's the first day I've been able to sit up much at all, so I'll mark items as shipped shortly.

I left home today for my Christmas vacation, so I will be getting my ornament after the holidays. I would give my parents' address but I am not sure if it would help any as I don't know if the ornament has been shipped already or not. But no worries partner, I promise I will love it even if I did not get it for Christmas! I am returning home on 28th and most likely will get it then. ^^

It's okay! I'll put up my mini tree tomorrow so I can take a proper pic and post a brag. (I was looking forward to getting a big tree at IKEA this week but my fiance found it too expensive. I do get his point as we'll be away for Christmas but still... I love how realistic the Ikea trees look and I really wanted one now that we finally have enough room for a proper tree! Well, there's always next year...)

I finished painting my replacement ornament today! I used the same design as my original but a very different overall style. I like how it came out and will be able to finish assembly tomorrow when the paint is 100% dry. I should be able to get it out tomorrow with the mail. Whooppee!
