Favorite anime??? (may contain spoilers, I guess.)

I've watched loads so far, but I am a bit out of date... Haven't been up to new releases for about 5 or so years, but here's a few favs:

- Death Note (simply amazing; there is yet to be something to top this up to me)
- Honey and Clover (I could relate so much)
- Rurouni Kenshin (the awesome part of my childhood !)
- Wolf's Rain (a truly amazing work of art)
- BECK (this anime made me buy my bass guitar !!)

And I won't count this as fav, but I really dig Jewelpet xD

I am currently watching the second season of Ghost in the Shell and Naruto Shippuuden (I am so incredibly behind LOL).

The only real anime I've seen/liked was Chobits. I like Studio Ghibli stuff though: namely My Neighbor Totoro, Kiki's Delivery Service, Howl's Moving Castle, & Spirited Away. Does The Boondocks count? Loved that show.

Fullmetal Alchemist, Cowboy Bebop, Black Butler, and Neon Genesis Evangelion will always be my favorites.  I also really enjoyed Excel Saga.  Too funny.  I have to watched the subbed one, as the dub of it is awful.

I thought I posted here, but guess not.

Favorite series is Nana. I would love to read the manga but can't find it for sale here without paying a fortune, and reading it online just annoys me.

I also love the Studio Ghibli stuff. Totoro, Ponyo, etc. So magical! I wish I had seen them as a child, because they would have been even more magical to me then.

There's no anime for the vocaloids, right O_o; ?

Well, no... I used to want an anime for them, but since they have many types of songs - happy, sad, creepy, silly, series of songs... if there was an anime, it would have one simple plot, probably full of romance and probably RinxLen (I don't like RinxLen, they're siblings to me. Maybe a Daughter of Evil/Servant of Evil and the rest of the "Evil" series would work as a great anime. There's even manga of it, so...).

But I wouldn't mind an UTAUloid anime, since their original songs are usually just adding up to their characters (For example: Teto's song "Kasane Territory" when she was released as a troll vocaloid.) The rest is covers by vocaloids or even real songs. Besides, the UTAUs by Vip@2ch are so random!

Currently...Im Watching One Piece (the weekly ep) Kill la Kill and Gallileo Gallilei.

Oh, and rewatching evangelion and Saint Seiya. And Gurren Lagann. HAve a weakness for the burning blood animes.

Oh gosh. I love anime, but choosing a favourite?!

Honourable Mention - Clannad Afterstory: Nobody else seems to have mentioned this amazing show - you do need to watch the somewhat more mediocre Clannad first, but my god Afterstory is amazing.

Favourite Anime: Anything by Makoto Shinkai.
That guy's films are stunning (far more beautiful than anything by Ghibli) and so emotionally provocative. My favourite film by him is easily the stunning 5 Centimetres Per Second, but honourable mention to his amazing, home-brewed initial offering, Voices Of A Distant Star. A magnificent piece of animation by global standards.

Aah, man i tend to gear towards more shorter running shows or at least shows that have finished but i do like sailor moon and other magical girl animes (i can't wait for the 2014 series to come out)

My favourite has always been Mononoke though, it's very arty and mind screw-y but it is horror based so.
I also really love sayonara zetsubou sensei!
