This spring has been weird, it's like winter was overly long and then we skipped spring altogether and went straight into summer.
Now we're having the first heatwave of the season. Well, heat by Finnish standards - anything above 25 Celsius (77 F) is considered hot here. It's been constantly above that since last week, and the upcoming week is not going to be any cooler. Most Finns are probably enjoying it now after the long winter, me too, but TBH it's uncharacteristic to have these temperatures in May. Luckily we got a bit of rain over the weekened, and luckily it's still cool during the night as we don't have AC. It gets more problematic when the temperature won't go below 20 degrees during the night... then it gets impossible to keep the indoor temperature comfortable and I'll have trouble sleeping.
