I actually thought the ban was lifted.  There was a We The People petition to lift the ban, but they didn't get enough signatures.  I know it was in the news a lot then, and they said they were getting kinder, but it was the bars or something, I guess.  I knew you couldn't get the eggs in the US, but I had no idea that the fine was $2500 PER EGG!  Wow, I've sent a few in swaps.  I could not have afforded those fines! =(

There's a candy store here called Freak Lunchbox (it's a chain), they have all kinds of older candies that normal stores don't carry on shelves anymore and other candy oddities (they had Whatchamacallit bars there one time when I was in! And Zebra Stripe gum) I might ask them about ordering some of these in ^^

If you noticed earlier, Sandra mentioned some local stores have them. I've seen them personally here many times. Some stores seem to find a way around the ban I've personally brought kinder eggs into the country several times and no one cared.

None, haven't a clue, haven't a clue. The person who posted them had nothing to say besides "russian" and "squishy". I don't even know if there's a Rarity.

Ah yeah, candy with toys inside are illegal in the US cuz of choking hazard. Customs and border patrol are actually VERY strict about letting any into the country, so no ordering them overseas D|

How would you choke on that?  Seriously, I really hope no one would just shove the entire chocolate sphere into their mouth.
