Over charging on shipping?
« on: August 18, 2014, 07:23:13 PM »
I bided on some NIB G3 ponies and asked about combine shipping before I bided. The seller said that they would combine shipping on the ponies to save. Well I got a invoice that says its going to cost me $30.95 to ship 5 ponies!!! Um I don't think so! I am not going to pay that! I had more NIB ponies shipped to me in one box and it did not cost that much!

What should I do? I am not going to pay that. That is just horrible :(

Ok now it says $20.95 to ship 5 ponies! :(

Hmm...I am just taking a guess here but 5 ponies plus packing materials is going to be around  1lb 4 ounces, give or take. Which means they will have to send Priority and that should roughly cost around $6 and that is without a discount for printing it online. BUT....that same amount sent in a Flat Rate Box would cost around $17.45, again without the online discount.

I would probably send your seller a message and ask how she/he intends to ship?  If it's stated in their listing that it's going flat rate your going to have a hard time backing out of the sale.

I'd first politely ask the seller if that invoice reflects the discounted/combined shipping? Maybe they sent it and forgot to adjust the amount?
