The starlings are gathering again. We never see them throughout the year, but each year they come here in September to get the berries from the tree across the street. They dive into it by the dozens, eat, and then the whole tree "explodes" as they fly away. This happens a few times a day until all the berries are gone. And the noise they make...!  They haven't started robbing the tree yet, but this morning I woke up to the sound of one or two starlings for the first time this year, so it'll only be a matter of days before they're all here.

When I lived in London I didn't have any rails or anything to put laundry on. Yeah, we had a drier, but there were things you couldn't put in that. I got very adept at hanging things over the doors of my cupboards and wardrobe to air and dry (with the window open). xD. That's actually not a bad idea!

Wait, you mean pony-sized or human-sized? If you mean human-sized, as a child I used to have a yellow towel with Firefly and the MLP rainbow on it. So at least one type exists!

Have and love! One of my favourite flutters. How can you not love that symbol, and her "freckles"? Her colour scheme is adorable too. visitors can't see pics , please register or login*old picture is old* She doesn't have the tin foil wings anymore. It was nice for the picture, but I didn't really like it in the end.

Do you have a stair railing or a shower rod you can hang things on?
Unfortunately not.  However, I just "solved" it by draping the towels over the edge of the clean clothes hamper. Luckily it's mostly the bottoms of the towels that are still damp, so I strategically placed them so those parts get some air. It looks ridiculous, but it's the best I can do with what I have.

My laundry won't dry with this level of humidity!  On Sunday I washed a load of towels, and I still can't put them away. It sucks, because I only have ONE drying rack, and there's other laundry piling up.

Deflocked, definitely. To have a deflocked Paradise is a huge pony dream of mine...  That being said, I would love to have one or a handful of So Softs with nice flocking as a novelty. Unfortunately I have none though. So Soft or deflocked.

Not a habit per se, but last night I actually surrounded myself with ponies in bed to sleep better, because I needed that feeling of extra safety. I put them around my pillow, on the headboard, on my nightstand... And yes, I did sleep better!

I collect way too much...  ~ - Sylvanian Families - Fairy Tails - Random toys I fall in love with - Anything mushroom/toadstool - Anything forest (trees, pine cones, owls, fairies etc.) - Anything Irish/Celtic - Souvenirs from my favourite island - Halloween stuff (though I'm a bit picky! I love pumpkins, (friendly) ghosts, spiderwebs and such, but I hate skulls, mummies and anything that looks really evil, but I also hate the overly cutesy stuff) - Jewellery, especially earrings *cough*Imayhaveabigearringproblem*cough*cough* - (Gem) stones - Pretty tableware - Band merchandise (especially Cranberries and Red Hot Chili Peppers) - Patches, but my backpack is already full  - Seasonal decoration for every season - Last winter I went crazy over a savings promotion from Albert Heijn where you could collect tiny little winter houses, eeeeee! - Pretty little trinkets in general ~ Spoiler I recently bought an adorable necklace of a magpie holding a little key. It's just perfect for me, since I tend to identify with Pikkie from Alfred J. Kwak.  Because this is basically me when I see something pretty: visitors can't see pics , please register or login

I took pictures for some Etsy reviews (jewellery, so showing my face is inevitable), and now I feel like such an ego tripper, awful.  It couldn't be further from the truth though! I am not a "selfie" person AT ALL, and it took over fifty pictures to get just a handful of decent ones. Oh well, on the plus side, I did take one (one!) that I actually happened to like.  So I'm going to hang on to that one whenever I need a mugshot.
