Yeah, I painted her, glad you like her! I wanted to keep her simple with just a couple of symbols and a bit of white at some points. :lovey: Germ will most likely have the same markings but in pale pink.

You did a wonderful job! I think the simplicity with the symbols and points works really well and Germ being pale pink will look just as beautiful. They'll compliment each other nicely :D

Today I want to share my current project - Newt, a pukitaur with the Halloween Event plate (one modded). I'm working on his faceup myself which is exciting and nerve wrecking at the same time. He's also my first eye mod, so it's not perfect but I think it adds character ;)

Oooh- where did you order your eyes from? They are lovely!
Looking at the centaur dolls makes me a bit jealous- I really want one but have now way overspent on dolls so it must wait!

I have some news today too-  so a little over two months ago a BRAND NEW Chinese BJD company opened its doors and began taking orders- Serenade dolls.  I fell in love with their look (which appears to be inspired by Popovy) and ordered one.  Their communication has not been the most fantastic- so I started getting a bit worried at some point since they have absolutely NO track record and seriously what was I thinking ??? Once their website went down completely for a couple of days- and I sent them a few frantic emails.

They did respond to me that they were still in business although they had trouble with their server- and the site did go back up eventually.  I also was reassured by the fact that even though they weren't responding to all of the Q&A on their site or emails-  they were regularly uploading various artsy photos of their dolls- which really show that the creator loves these dolls a lot. 

Well finally today my doll arrived!  I think she is absolutely gorgeous.  I have never had a "large" doll before- and seriously was having second thoughts- but now that she is in hand, I do really like her.  The clothing they sold with her is gorgeous and fits very well- I can't believe how inexpensive it was.  She poses SO WELL. I even love her stand (although I still have to construct it).

Anyways- although she is waiting for a wig and a face-up now, I just adore her and wanted to share a bit.  Here she is showing off her size and flexibility:

Galactica-your new girl is so pretty!  I love her long, lean style.  That long neck!

The new eyes I got for Rhiannon and Phoebe are from Mako eyes.  I'm totally in love with all of their eyes and I want to switch everybody over to them, lol.

I love all your dolls barbgirl!   I hear a lot about mako eyes and I'm always very tempting.  You're going to push me over the edge.

Little Newt has really stolen my dolly attention lately!

I'm actually in the process of switching all of my current dolls (aside from the Realpukis..) to Makos! I absolutely LOVE them - especially the Iberis :heart:
barbgirl, are your Phoebe's Iberis Makos by any chance? They look stunning!

Congrats on the arrival Galactica! She's beautiful :)

I love Makoeyes too, I need some more but I'm broke :P. I put a Tyltyl Zebrataur on layaway at Fabric Friends & Dolls, so naughty but I couldn't resist the chance ;).

Here's my little Sophie and Sunny. Sunny has Makoeyes while Sophie stole Sunny's stock eyes ^-^.
