Title: Ponies on risers!
Post by: Hannah66665 on July 30, 2017, 12:08:28 AM
I hope it's okay to make a topic like this... if there's one in existence right now I'm unaware of please point me that way.

I own a couple spice rack risers and I intend to use them for ponies... but I'm really curious to see other collections on risers. Store bought or home made. :D Basically I just want to get an idea how many I can cram in a small space. XD and what types of displays look good, etc.  :)

What I do is have a row of baby ponies, then a row of adults in a shorter mold, then a wood block riser with a row of adults in a taller mold behind them. Just to get the best view of everyone possible. I organize my ponies by mold as well to maximize the number of ponies that can fit in the cabinets. So, my shelves all look like this:

I have risers my husband made for me. They are made from wood and I have space for two rows of ponies on my shelf that normally would only have space for one- :)

I actually use foam blocks for risers. I believe I paid $5 for a pack of 5-6 blocks and they work pretty well. I cut them down to fit my G4s better.

Ahh, these are fantastic. Organizing by mold really does seem to make a difference... I quickly gave up on my venture with my risers and G1s until I can unpack the rest and sort them similarly so they fit better. XD

Love hearing about everyone else's set-ups. Hoping for some more photos.  :)
