robocop reboot ? seen it? (spoiler warning)

went to see it over the week end it was ok but i thought it was a mistake to make it a 12A with hardly and swaring or body count it was a bit boring plus the baddie was a bit nondiscript and the way that he was blown up in the begining meh i just couldent feel as sorry for him as i had with the origanal what does the arena think ?

Robocop...I *think* I remember seeing a preview for it.

I guess its like how many have claimed transformers was for you, then? Boring with explosions? (I personally thought transformers was fine--atleast the first movie but a lot of people weren't happy).

Im not sure how the ratings differ from her to there but im sure it is the way it is due to (what im going to assume is) the nature of the movie.  General violence and such.

That said it was never a movie I was wanting to watch--more of if I happen to see it, I see it

It doesn't come out til Wednesday for us in the states. I wanna go see it just because I loved the orginal so much.

Gonna see it Friday on Valentines day with my boyfriend. The original is one of his favorite movies so he's excited to see if they've trashed this one. I've kind of seen the ending a couple of times already so I know how it goes, but I love my man so I'll watch it with him anyway.

Redlettermedia just put up a Robocop episode of Half In The Bag on youtube today, I'd post a link, but I reckon the humor and language is a bit too bold for some folks.

Anyways, one of the guys was explaining why Robocop 3 was horrible and mentioned it was PG-13, and one of the co-hosts said "What kind of stupid a****** would make a PG-13 Robocop movie?", then the poster for the new one is spliced in and they all stare awkwardly into the camera.

I'm guessing they'll critique the new one next week? I still want to see it though, even if it misses the point of the original.

I haven't seen the original but I remember bits and pieces from previews and such so I kinda know the story. This new one seemed like it would be pretty good, especially for someone who has no preconception of what it "should" be like. What do you think?
