My girlfriend and I were going to go to the legislature building to see the fireworks for new years. It is going to be very cold and I have come down with a cold or something. So no fireworks for us. Which sucks because I know she was looking forward to it, and I was looking forward to sharing our first new years kiss. Now I just feel awful because of the sickness and because of my own disappointment.

After Christmas, everybody just seems agitated and I don’t know why. Everybody in my house just is angry, and being short and snarky with each each other, and I think everybody is just getting worse because someone will say something that sets someone else off.

I feel like I should clarify, I don’t mean spike being more like the monster dragon in personality, but more so in physical characteristics. Spike is still an individual, and so can develop his own personality. Spike and the monster might be the same or closely related species, but they are two different individuals.

I never thought about it much, but I think it could be either the dragon gang or the dragon “monster”. Based on physical traits (ears, those horny protrusions on the spine and nose shape), I might be inclined to say spike is the latter, or at least closer to the latter than the dragon gang. While we don’t know much of anything about dragon development in pony land, it is possible spike would grow wings as he matures (maybe not as dramatically a transformation as his g4 counterpart) and eventually become more like the “monster” dragon. It is also possible spike simply lacks the wings that other members of his kind have. We know little of his time before the ponies other than he was in the care of Scorpan. Maybe he just could be an anomaly in that regard.

My girlfriend. She makes me smile everyday. But I’ve been so stressed about finals this and next week, but being on a call with her (can’t see her because of study schedule and sick) just made everything seem better. I absolutely cannot wait to spend Christmas with her!

I have exams to study for, art commitments I’ve made I need to get done, and want to at least take some time for myself to play with my girlfriend/friends online. But it seems every time I have a minute away from study, I’m dragged away to do some other task. We either need longer days, or people need to realize I am 21 and make my own plans.

My complaint for today is that after my girlfriend went home, my family started harping on me about things I should have done/need to do, and then got mad when I was (admittedly my fault) in a mood because of what they’ve said. I’m not a mind reader, and if they want me to do something they need to tell me. “But when she’s here you pay no attention to us!” I’m sorry I want to spend time with the person I love. They never get like this about my sister going out until two in the morning.

My girlfriend and I are both playing through Pokémon scarlet. The game does have a few performance issues (especially when the switch is docked in the tv) but so far we are having a lot of fun taking pics and adventuring together! I feel like it’s going to be a good game, if I could look past the frame rate and lag problems.

I love these! I’ve had count chocula before but I never really got the hype. Tasted kinda meh to me.
And yeah, speaking as someone who works with blender, it can be hard to learn. I would definitely advise looking at tutorials online, since blender is well documented. And good luck with rendering! That’s where my computer always trips up too. I swear I should cook food on my computer while I render, since it’s already working at full steam anyways.

I have math fair on Halloween. Why our professor scheduled this and why teachers are bringing their students in to do math problems on Halloween for a field trip is beyond me though. Maybe it’s because math is scary?  Afterwards, once the day is done and I get to go home, I think I’ll just be handing out candy. No new costume this year, been busy with uni.

I like the idea but I feel like those toys probably need to go for redevelopment. I do not like 4 eyed grimace.
