Hello! I haven't been too active here lately, but I'm back and ready to start making more pony stuff! - I am now taking pre orders for commissions on custom ponywear! Right now I am booked, but I will start on new orders come May 15th. About my ponywear: I am an experienced seamstress and crafter of several years now and I really enjoy what I do! I take great pride in my work and try to make sure that all of my items are *perfect*. I can work with nearly any fabric. From chiffon to denim, satin to cotton, taffeta to polyester! PLEASE NOTE- prices vary depending on the outfit. I require 50% of the outfit's total cost down, and the rest upon completion. Hi.
I recently acquired a Blythe doll that was customized by the previous owner. Her previous owner painted her with what appears to be acrylics, pastels, and NAIL POLISH. My question is, can I remove all of this with nail polish remover (like MH, EAH, etc.)? She is sealed with Mr. Super clear.
I have another question as well. Can I repaint a Blythe using only acrylic paints? I do not own pastels or Mr. Super clear, this is why I am asking. I already have a beautifully custom wig for her (these are pretty expensive wigs), so I want to be careful with how I paint her.

Hi, I wasn't quite where to post this for sale, so if this post is not allowed please let me know and I will remove it immediately. Up for sale I have a Vintage 450 sterling silver bracelet by Laurence Foss. It has a leaf design on each link of the bracelet. The markings read "LF 450 STERLING" and the custom markings read "THERESA J. STARK", "1929-1954", and "TALBOT BIRD & CO". Perhaps someone had custom writing engraved at the possible time of purchase (1954)? It does have scratches and is slightly tarnished, but I did remove alot of the tarnishing. It fits an approximately 7.5"-8" size wrist and has a vintage box clasp. This piece of jewelry with the matching necklace is $1500 on Ebay, but I am willing to take offers, being that I'm not sure exactly how much the bracelet alone is worth. I would like to get rid of it ASAP. Hi, Life in the dreamhouse Midge doll. Her left eyelashes are a bit messed up, but not terrible. Her hair appears to be in really good condition. She will come with her gold necklace and earrings and her blue dress.

I am thinking of starting my own collection of handmade/sculpted dolls, and would love to see what others have come up with, and what tips anyone has to offer on making dolls. Like, what air dry clay would work out well for doll sculpting? I've been using model air, but am not sure on how well it would work for sculpting dolls.

I have a thread for custom ponies, but I figured that I should post photos of my custom doll over here. This was an Our Generation doll. I removed her eyes with the intention of repainting them, only to find that there was no way to paint them, AND that they broke while being removed from her head.  So now the main part of her eyes are glued in with E600 (I threw the broken pieces of the eyes away.). I first painted a white "mask" onto her face and then decorated the rest. After her paint job was finished I sealed it with a satin glossy sealer. Her outfit was hand sewn, and while not very accurate, it still looks nice in my opinion.
