I found Dainty Dove at a car boot sale this morning in will-clean-up-to-NM condition. She's a duplicate but I am pleased to have her all the same!

oooooh *drools* so many beautiful ponies!  o.o omg, Ive never ever though I would say this, lol. But I simply started to like the G2 more and more. Today I got my very first "new" G2 for my collection after deciding on collecting them. I also have two MOC ones, NightGlow and WhitePearl. Originally I wanted to give them away, because I didnt like G2 much in the past, but since NightGlow has glow-in-the-dark hair I had to keep her (I love everything glowing in the dark). WhitePearl was a present from a friend who thought she might fit into my (G1) MOC collection, so of course she had to be kept too. Today, Im happy that I still have both <3
Keep posting pics, G2 look soo cute this way, wonderfully groomed and styled <3 great pics everyone!!

I was resistant to G2s for a long time because they felt like a betrayal of G1s, lol-  but now I think they are super cute and pretty- and the merch especially can be super cute-

That said- I haven't actively collected them (there are only so many ponies you can possibly collect, lol) - and only have these two sets that I picked up in Germany while visiting my sister.

I was so happy to get them all in one cheap lot on ebay.

I really have come to like G2's, and this thread really makes me want to get more. I think I should really focus on them more this year. :)

Wow this is neat! I've never looked at a bunch of G2's up close before this thread! They're much prettier than I imagined, when you can see them in detail. So many of them have articulated legs! How rare for a mlp.

One thing I noticed... does every G2 only have one color of ink for their symbol? Seems so strange to see after all the variety of symbols in the G1 line. I'm surprised more people don't complain, since just about everything else in the toys has been complained about lol. (I imagine when G2's first came out, the reactions must have been the exact same as when the G4 line was released: "So small!" "Don't look like ponies!" "Hasbro has lost their creativity!" XD )

Hip Holly (I think that's her name) is so cool! Wish they did more translucent G2's!

I've never thought of that! Now when I do think about it I've never seen multicoloured symbols on G2s  :)
