Thank you very much for your offer of your dry erace horse! (Get it? RACE horse? Wha wha wha!!) I find plenty of custom fodder here. I think I'll go at her with some fine grade sandpaper and just see where the wind blows my fancy. My customs never end where I wanted them to in the beginning, but I think that is what gives them their souls!

Pony Corral / not sure where to put Q about pony flaws?

I just got a very pretty Desert Blossom, but she has a few flaws that I'm not sure about their origin or how to fix it.
Poor Desert has a staggered mane! It isn't in a straight line on her neck the way a "normal" pony's should. She's got great hair otherwise, nice and thick and glossy, but has anyone else noticed this on any other ponies?
She is supposed to be a sparkle pony, but she doesn't have many sparkles. The ones she has are completely made up of the larger circular ones, and she has no small ones like my other ponys have. She's in great condition with absolutely no scuffs, so she hasn't been roughed up, and her cutie mark hasn't been scratched, it's just....sparkle sparse.
I thought this might be because she was an early release? Maybe it took a while to figure out the proper sparkle/glue mix at the pony factory? Has anyone else seen this?

So happy to find other pony freaks out there. I've felt rather alone up here in the cold...the only pretty colors right now come from my ponies!
I'm just beginning to create customs and started yesterday with a McD's switcheroo into a

Pony! So cute! I'll also soon be doing plushies, so hopefully I won't go completely mad during the process!

Thank you for the info about fixing frizzy pony hair! I tried it out on a completely fried Peach Surprise (obviously a bathtub pony...you know what I mean) from the Goodwill and had amazing results!
