Yes, I love it! My last school bus driver I had said to me one day that he thought Corgi's were an interesting little dog. That is why I bought it  I really loved it when he was there... oh well...
Oh yes, my parents said that was a fashion piece in their teens. I still have to find a "statement" to make with it lol. I have my black tail I can wear with it maybe

Back at work today!

Today was not as crowded like the last couple weeks were. I showed up early and found 4 books and then I found a G4 Reboot Fluttershy in the back and added those to my bin for later.

I did some phone answering, question answering, and cart manhandling today. I saw a person who goes to my high school and we briefly chatted for a minute.

I went on my break and purchased the stuff I found earlier. It came to a total of $5.00, which I was glad. The last two weeks it was like around $25 and I was surprised.

I was cleaning the station with alcohol based wipes and found myself a little project to do. I found various loose tags for clothing that was not in a rubber band that was already holding some. This was also the same for other tags in the caddy's that are holding various things. I was working on it and got the mess situated.

Here is today:

I showed up early to look around. I found 2 books, and a VHS of Black Beauty. I made sure I had them on my employee purchase form before I went on shift. My manager showed up today, and gave me a project to do. The project was to attach small pieces of foam onto plastic hangers for clothing material that is slippery or has a large neckline, the foam helps the clothing material stay in place and not fall off the hanger.

Today was not super busy, but average. There was one customer who talked with me and I had an unusual vibe about this guy. He seemed normal, but he was loosing his balance a few times so that gave me a suspicion he was under something possibly. He did ask me a few questions and I was careful of what I said.

There was a couple of attempted shopliftings today. One gal was browsing each area of the store deliberately (according to my manager) and was attempting to hide items in clothing that she had in her cart. I also learned that she had her friend come in and try to steal some stuff in a larger purse. My manager had the security company that comes in towards closing time watch the gal in the books for a little bit. The guy watching her didn't seem to intervene with the woman, which I think was ok. A different person came in and she was told to check the woman out and said that the gals friend was caught (sorta?) and rushed out. My manager said that if she sees the people who tried stealing come back she has to tell them they cannot shop at the store for at least a year.

I did find a pony on my break! A G4 Styling Size Twilight Sparkle. She was found when I was taking a last look before I purchased my finds.

Back at work today.

I showed up early and found 2 books. I walked around a little more and found nothing else I wanted to buy.

There was the same amount of people that came in today I would say. It felt more mellow and calm. I was tired after 4:30pm too. My cat last night was snuggling on me and made my eyes water and puff up *grrr*. I woke up this morning  with the crusties in the corner of my eyes. It was worth the love from a cat.

I got carts from the parking lot and answered the phone throughout the work day. I got bored after 4:15pm and decided to wipe the greeter station down and sweep the floor. Give me something to do. The floor needed it too.

I went on break and purchased my bin items. I saw a small horse plush in the back and added it to my finds.

At the end of the day, Keira sat on my lap after I tied my shoe. I told her she gets my lap for a minute then she has to get off. I carried her to my station and put her on top of it. She got lots of pets today from everyone.

I left my purchases in my locker and will get them hopefully throughout the week after I go in with my Work Based Learning class with my high school.

Note: I will not be working next Saturday. I have an all weekend swim meet I have to attend to. I am hoping to drop times on my events. Wish me luck!

Back at work today!

I went to work early and looked around. I found 6 books and a belt organizer. The belt organizer was something I was wanting to find for my belts to be on something else instead of on my wall with thumbtacks. I am so happy I found that today.

Work started and I was busy greeting for a while. My supervisor gave me a project today. She told me to put baseball, football, and basketball player cards into small bags to be sold in bags for a good price. I was busy doing that until my brain needed a break from it.

Our staff Christmas party is tomorrow evening, so my boss was upstairs preparing for the event tomorrow. I heard her upstairs and originally thought it was a ghost... wrong! 

A co-worker told me that this morning, after the store opened, there was a homeless person sleeping outside on one of the couches. I was a little shocked but not surprised. Some clearance furniture is left outside overnight and so homeless people might find it a place to sleep.

Other than that, I had a good day today!
