I'm travelling to the big city for a zookeeper experience!! It's just a half-day one, and the next day I'll be doing a meerkat experience AND going to the Dungeons. I'm hoping to go to a specialist gemstone/treasure shop as well, and I need to go to Hotel Chocolat for my birthday voucher plus get a gift for a co-worker who is nice enough to give me a ride to my stop-over town. I'm staying overnight and hope to check into the hotel early but I need to wait and see once I get there!

Lady Frostbite, that sounds so fun! How did it go?!

Today I’m working and going to the library to pick up books that are on hold for me. :read: Later I’ll watch my favorite streamer continue playing Undertale on Twitch.

I've been busy today. I was able to get into my tub and took a very long shower. First shower I've had in a couple months, so much better than a bed bath! And I'm happy my leg seems to be better? I had to maneuver a bit to get it over the side, but I made it. Then I stripped everything off my bed, took the pillow covers off, the mattress topper, my plushies - everything! The first load is done, now I need to wash the topper and blanket. I'm not going to wash my plushies, but I'll pop 'em in the dryer on low for a while to get the cat hair off and refresh them.

It doesn't sound like much, but this took me most of the day. I also made some pasta earlier and just now finished some fish for dinner.

I'm super tired now but I want to finish the bed. I'm dreading putting everything back on but I know it will be worth it when I get in on clean sheets with a clean body

It's been a while since I posted here, so sorry about that xxx You lot have been busy!!!

So have I. As stated in cooking thread, it's apple-picking time, so I've been picking apples from public access trees in the old Railway track walk. All the good ones I can get come home, while any too bruised I scatter around the overgrown parts of the track in the hope they will become more apple trees in the future.
My bed was too much of a mess not to sort, so I vacuumed the bedroom & the hallway outside, then once that was done, I could clear the bed (I have plushies on mine too heehee!!!), then remake it. Not a big fan of that job but if it needs done...
I'm continuing with noisy coffee sharky facts, with the spinner shark & the kitefin shark ticked off the list. A regular's brother saw a basking shark within two miles of us on Tuesday or Wednesday, & took a video for us to see!!!
I'm also continuing Tuesday coffee, Sunday stuff, & outdoor gym. Meanwhile, Wednesday before last I heard there was a coffee morning in a nearby village 2-3 miles from the everything shop town, so I took the bus to the coffee morning there, then walked the coastal path to town. The village on the other side has my local aquarium, but I was JUST too late to go!!! It's shut completely to rebuild it & I hope that means bigger & better. I'd love to see what it will look like. I still got shopping done so that was great, especially the finds in charity shops.
I have another project on the go, & meanwhile I've been continuing my usual work xxx
Sleep is still an issue at times, but I work round that somehow xxx

Lady Frostbite, that sounds so fun! How did it go?!

It was amazing!! We got to feed some huge and small animals, some encounters were really close like handfeeding whilst others were more distant for safety (like we fed one of the Great Apes). The penguins were so surreal but incredible! Fed some meerkats as well but didn't get too close as that's just policy. Definitely want to do something like it again next year!

I’ve been busy this past week with… Covid!  Started with a sore throat last Tuesday night. Turned into sneezing and runny nose and unbearable sinus pressure headaches, my eyes running like rivers by Wed/Thurs.
I sometimes have bouts of hayfever(allergies), and that’s what I thought I had.  Friday I was feeling worse so I took a test.
Covid Positive!😩

Frostbite what a fun experience!!!
Gator oh no!!! Get well soon xxx
BC the usual

Usual Sunday stuff.
Monday was quiet, but I saw the baby ducks again. There are 8 of them & they're the cutest!!! Will have to get a pic soon.
Tuesday Coffee. Local thrift shop is shut due to needing refurbished & fixed up. Got yarn from the pharmacy for current side-project, then quick stuff at the Co-op, & electricity. Switched on my downstairs heater as it's starting to get cold.
Day off gym today. Will do home exercises, but have also been doing stuff like laundry, a shower, dishes, & hopefully stewing the remaining apples.
Got some more packages in, including some rare G2 Babies I didn't have yet. They had no accessories, so I knitted some (It's Nosy & Click, & they are meant to have caps & a camera. I knitted them capes & caps & assigned them tail ribbons). Ticking a few more MLP & Friends comics off my wantlist too. Will have to update it.

Dada had the day off so we had a day at home, he did radiator things. I took the baby swimming and had a nap in the afternoon, then after dinner we went out for a walk. Baby likes to push her pushchair along down the footpath by herself, I think she likes the exercise so we let her do it. She shouts 'stop' and we all have to stop, then she rests for a bit and says 'go' so we all go along again.

Has it been that long???
Artie sounds so relaxing xxx

There have been two Fridays so two sharky facts. I forgot to Google yesterday, so I picked the Bluntnose Sixgill, which I saw in a Youtube vid visiting a submarine. Very cute. Yesterday was busier than the week before. Also, somebody has a sharky Lego keyring!!!
There has been a Sunday too, but I had to get up early for that one, due to it being a joint thing with a venue elsewhere. It was good & there were nice cakes afterwards.
There has been a Tuesday of course, with its usual thing.
There was also a Wednesday night meeting, which happens once a month. Food was yummy & somebody brought apples. We ate some & I suggested the rest went to Friday, & I was right. They were loved on Friday. The talk was fun too, while again going quite deep on the subject matter. Cursing at Netflix for only having one season of something I now know has at least three. PLEASE get the other two seasons up!!!
It's growing colder, & wetter. Between the Wednesday thing & the Friday thing I crashed out. Aside from that I'm still hitting the outdoor gym where possible, & doing indoor exercises where not.
Packages have been mostly accessory-based, including some missing G2 accessories (still need the table for the G2 castle, but the rest is here), & toy animal based.
Knitting & crochet continues.

So I had another crashout. I keep having them & it's annoying. Due to that Monday might as well not have existed. Sunday did though so I did the usual stuff there.
Tuesday also had the usual stuff, plus a monthly meeting. The talks are quite interesting, & I'm not one to say no to free snacks, whether at the thing or after clearing up (I helped wi some of that).
Wednesday (kind of today but strictly speaking yesterday) I got good news, bad news, & unusual news. Good: craft group is back!!! Didn't know as wasn't notified, so I tried going & was welcomed back. Turns out the person who runs it gets really busy so some stuff slips her mind. It was good to see some of the folks there.
Bad news: Thursday there's another coffee in a village I can't get to without a lift, but nobody seems able to take me.
Unusual news: ordered a Pony on eBay from a seller in France. The seller cancelled the order, but I received the package in the post. I messaged the seller, who cancelled by mistake. The cancellation meant my payment was refunded, so the seller asked me to pay again. I did that because, as I said, I have the Pony. So anyway, got that sorted out.
Other packages have arrived too & I've ordered more stuff. Some of it is really cute, & some is knocking stuff off the Wantlist.
I FINALLY got round to stewing the rest of my apples. A few small ones are dead, while a couple of bigger ones needed bits cut from them, but the rest is stewing now, so better than not getting it done. And all the apples were free so yaiy!!!
Still working on knitting & crochet, plus I've done a little sorting of Pony stuff. Some of my orders I'm waiting for are balls of yarn. Still doing the outdoor gym, & slowly progressing

I've been in bed mostly, feeling so sick. I am finally getting some of my medicine delivered.

I'm going to switch phone carriers from AT&T to Mint Mobile. I don't know if I have it in me to call today and do it, but Mint is $45 every 3 months compared to 55 every month and I need to save all the money I can. I'm also going to call Comcast/Xfinity and get the cheapest internet they have. Unfortunately, there is no alternative for internet in this area so I have to go with them if I want internet at all, and I need it.

Even though I haven't been eating much, I did get some groceries. Mostly pasta and canned goods.

I need to list some more stuff on eBay. Thinking of selling my MOC Raincurl, but I'm unsure.

Really need to get my trash out of here. I thought I could hire someone, but I'm not going to have the money. Maybe I should email the property manager and tell her, maybe the maintenance guys can take it.

Had two Fridays & both went well (last week & today)
Finished the Blythswood knitting for this year, but as I slept in on Sunday I couldn't take it in until Tuesday.
I've had a couple of crashouts again, hence sleeping in Sunday.
Tuesday was great & we sang a couple of Harvest Festival songs.
Hardcore Halloween knitting & crochet from now until near Halloween.
October Holidays for next two weeks means no Friday coffees for that time.
Outdoor gym still regular, can do leg-pushes with one leg, then the other, & arm pulls with one arm, then the other. I'm keeping it to five for now, but will increase as I progress, leg first.
If it's too wet or I have problems getting outside I have indoor exercises I can do I find on Youtube.
Most concerning, I got a letter.
They are going to take me off the ESA I've been living on up until now & put me on Universal Credit. I've sent a text to the person whom most recently did my support work & am awaiting a reply, as I REALLY need help getting this right. Because if I don't, it's going to cost me. A LOT. I'm going to try a call, though I hate them, after catching up here, because it's that bad, & I need to know I'll have the support I need on this. I have NEVER liked filling forms, especially the non-specific parts.

BC, huggles & snuggles, from me & my sharky xxx I've seen footage of the NC Hurricane destruction, & know of the one affecting you. Stay safe xxx          And stay well as you can xxx

Today is Chore day and tomorrow I go back to work, I don't want to go back to work  -_- I couldn't resist checking my emails whilst off on holiday just so I wasn't overwhelmed when I got back. I just want to stay home, nap a lot and do coursework dangit

Two chores down, one to go, and I should go out for stuff for lunch tomorrow. I can't help with my neighbours bins because our horrible neighbour has been letting their dog do their business in the shared area and it's COVERED with turds. Yes, complaints have been made, but people higher up say oh our hands are tied unless you literally catch them in the act
