I say Buttons - I think her design is better suited to the colors.

I have been plumbing the fable depths and I think I have found all the bits and pieces that I was looking for. There are some great threads on here as well as the one you linked. I did have a look in the gallery too :)

It's sad we don't have conversations like that here anymore. The Arena is still lovely, but I miss it :)

Thanks again :D

:) I am glad I could help, I did wonder if it was that thread you were looking for. There were so other threads on the Fable ponies, but I know that has actual lists in it as well as pictures. I searched "Scandinavia" and checked the MLP Nirvana box ;) I have shortcuts to some threads on my PC as well

I put a little bit of information in the Nirvana Gallery as well under "other releases of interest" ;)

Love pkw xxx

Thanks folks.

As horrible as the world events are, I find it's possible to ration how much of that news I take in at any one point.

It's harder to get away from the Government's direct and explicit attacks on disabled people.

I really don't want to bring the full rant here, but it is cowardly and disgusting. If they want to save taxpayer's money, maybe stop giving large chunks of it to private enterprise endorsed by colleagues and start thinking about how to fix the NHS and other vital social services. NOt to mention recruitment. If you want disabled people in work, start doing something about accessibility.

There's also no law in this country designating that hate crime against disability exists. Only against race, gender and sexuality. So people can do and say what they like and call it 'free speech', so long as they don't commit another crime like assault.

In London, in one twenty four hour period I overheard two discussions on buses which used derogatory language about autistic people.

I also overheard one autistic lad trying to explain to his friend what a meltdown was and why he was so angry with another friend for falsely accusing him of something. And I really felt for him and his future.

All in one 24 hour period.

I actually never hear comments like that here where I live. It did rather shock me, reminded me how so many folk seem to believe we exist on another plane and don't hear/feel comments people make about us. I also don't go around eavesdropping on bus conversations, but it's hard not to hear people yelling or having loud phone conversations.

Today I took the baby to the woodland playgroup and the best thing was listening to the birds in the trees. All birds are 'duck' to my little one but I'm sure she'll soon get the hang of it :)

There is snow, there is melted ground, there is snow.. Cold, warm, cold.. this is the Finnish spring.

At the beginning of this month, I was able to admire crocuses and bumblebees. Migratory birds arrived and began searching for mates. I could smell the melted earth around me and watch the ice melt on the lake.
Now, on Saturday, winter arrived back. I get to admire the snow-covered land and the forest again. Feel the freezing cold. But even though I love winter, I feel sad precisely because of these migratory birds, especially the small ones. They can't survive without the help of us people. Winter feeding must be continued. Most of all, I worry about the hedgehogs. I really hope I don't find them somewhere in the middle of the snow! :( I heard that yesterday someone had found a hedgehog in poor condition. I hope it survived and got help in time! Now more snow and cold have been promised for the next few days. I have to be really careful now in my yard and in the woods too.

I didn't know it was like that, I just think of Finland as being like Moomintroll forest and once spring has arrived you play a flute and start planning hikes and garden parties. I love hearing you talk about where you live. We stopped feeding the birds about a month ago. There was a light frost last nigth but I think it will be the last.

@BC, thanks for the kind words. Also love the sharks! I love how people can create these handicraft items that look so real. The hammer head shark is amazing.

@Lady Frostbite I love you for being the bin police. What a good deed to do for your neighbours!

I took the baby to the woodland play group today. It's a lot to navigate for her since it's not just a room like the old playgroup and there are a lot of older kids crashing about too. But she's doing really well.

I forgot to mention the fact that these are core/major characters they're locking behind the NFT paywall - yeah, I don't get it either. If they were variants of previous releases (y'know, gimmicky crap like Glow in the Dark and such) then I'd be like, alright, whatever, it's a gimmick, but... ARGH.

Even setting aside the NFT thing, the whole system is so infuriating. It sounds like the odds of actually winning a figure are slim to none, so what's even the point?? Why wouldn't Applejack and Rarity be regular releases?!?

A Limited Release would have been better and FAIRER. Those who want a particular POP! gladly get the one they want (in my case, Daenerys and Princess Luna). Avatar was also a victim of NFTs, which was shocking as it's so popular. They've got a horror icons drop coming up and that's even WORSE as there are a *lot* of horror collectors, either in general or of a particular franchise!

The fact that Applejack and Rarity, two 'core' ponies, are part of this is just absolutely insulting. They should have been part of the original wave, I STILL don't understand why they weren't. Princess Luna has a devoted fanbase, and no NMM POP! either?!
Pony Corral / Re: Has anyone seen anything like these before?

Gosh, that's so clever and cute! I'm over here struggling to make a mold, and some kid did it with a toy not even sold in their country in the 80s! I love it! :lmao:

This is what gets me about them! It's such an oddly specific thing to make a custom/homemade mould out of, but I guess I've seen weirder! I agree they do look like plaster casts of some kind rather than just being painted over the original toys. I wonder if they were an obscure fakie plaster cast kit that "borrowed" the original Hasbro moulds - or maybe even a legitimate release that we haven't found yet? I think I'm leaning towards homemade or bootleg atm. It is odd if they weren't released over there... but not impossible, toys do travel esp. if bought on holiday... if only they could talk! Either way they're a really cool and unusual find, congrats!
