She's the only pony I have a small army of: "Winter Minty" in Donkey Pose Diva Pose Minty 3D symbol Minty I wouldn't mind getting another one in one of the missing poses.

While I'm generally not a big fan of transparent ponies, Starglow grew on me because of her GITD elements, unusual symbol and body colour. I got her from a trade last year, I love her.

I agree with Taffeta, I don't like the US / non-US focus either. Some of my childhood ponies were also sold in the US, while others were only sold in Europe or even just in specific countries. To me those latter ponies aren't "non-US" ponies or even nirvanas. They were sold here so to me they are regular releases. We mainly got Italy ponies in the first few years, so from my point of view, these ponies are the "normal version", while the HK/China versions with glittery symbols are a foreign variant. So it's very subjective and shouldn't be looked at from a purely US perspective by an international community.
On an international forum like the Arena it would be more neutral to ask "which is your favourite pony that was never released in the area where you grew up", but as it's been such a long time since the last G1s were available in shops and it's getting harder to find them second hand locally, I think this question loses relevance anyway. What's more, younger collectors didn't grow up with G1s so where they were sold initially doesn't hold as much relevance for them as it does for those of us who remember seeing them in our local toy shops and still have our childhood collection along with ponies bought as adults, somewhere on an international platform like ebay or here on the Arena.
What I'm trying to say is that to me the question is only relevant, in terms of "I would have certainly bought that pony during my childhood if it had been available in my area, but it wasn't so I now enjoy it as an adult, having bought it second hand or still looking for it because I like it".
The ponies I bought as an adult (even the ones that were sold over here but never joined my childhood collection) were all obtained on eBay or on MLP forums, so their initial distribution only came into play in terms of the price the seller settled on.

Can you adjust the temperature on your iron? I used a hair straightener at first and wasn't really happy with the results, so I've switched to a similar curler like the one shown in the video and it works better for me, so I probably won't use the straightener any more. Both have heat control and I've noticed that the lowest setting on my iron (110°C) is ideal for straightening pony hair. If you go higher, the hair starts to melt, but at 110° it's perfectly safe, even if I keep it in position for a few secs. My curling iron has an argan oil & keratin infused barrel, this helps really nicely with moisturising the hair (along with conditioner, which I rinse before the treatment) instead of make it even more dry. If you use an older model, it's perhaps possible that its maximum temperature isn't hot enough for the nylon hair to straighten, so that's something you could check. On my first try, I wasn't able to remove the frizz at the ends, as the the clamp isn't strong enough to smooth out the hair when pulling it through, so the hair just gets heated in its frizzy state. You can then pull the hair straight right after removing the iron, while it's still hot. This certainly helps a little, but in my case the ends were still a bit frizzy. The improvement was certainly visible, but I still wasn't entirely happy with the result, as the ends still felt dry because of the slight frizz. So I figured out that I somehow need to smooth out the hair before it enters the hot iron. What I do now is I stick a fine-toothed comb in the hair before the treatment. If just the ends are frizzy I begin somewhere in the middle, and start treating the hair with the curling iron right in front of the comb. So when I move the iron through the hair towards the tips it will be smoothed by the comb before it enters the iron. It's a bit tricky and the comb falls off now and then, plus I've also burnt myself a couple of times when trying to hold the comb in place, but this technique works really well for me for removing the frizz from the ends and I've been satisfied with the results ever since.

I quite like her! Her color scheme is very unique, although I wish the same could be said about her symbol and name. I get her mixed up with Tropical Delight quite often.
I agree about her name. Even though I have her, I never seem to be able to remember her name when I want to look her up on MLW or when I remove her from display.

I love her symbol, but her colours are a bit too bland for my taste.
