The Dollhouse / Re: Rainbow High?

Good to see those outfits in the wild Ponyfan - thanks   they were only available from Amazon here under one listing so it was like getting blind bags to start with. I got 4 of them so far (Skating, Ballet, Beach, Party) and they fit the dolls fine - the skating one is supposed to be for Sunny but TBH it looks amazing on Poppy :D
I'll get round to uploading some pics of my dolls soon hopefully.. once i remember how to do that on here

So I tried this to show a photo.
It‘s definitely not rust.

Oh and in the lot with her was a blue Tassles who also had some of these. I think the regrind thing only happens to kind of pink ponies?

I'd love to see pics of your dolls Ringlets.  :D

I saw these RH fashions today.

I didn't notice until after I took the pic, but each fashion has a doll on the front.
I don't debox my dolls so I have no idea if the fashions would actually fit the dolls or not.  Just looking at them it seems like they might be a tight fit.

The Dollhouse / Re: Monster High returns again!

I can't wait for the comic story to unfold and hope it's good! I wish I could have the physical cover version with only Frankie on it. Frankenstein's monster looks great and his little moment with Frankie is cute. Guess it's digital copy for me, too. No idea if this will be sold here.

I could write a long essay about how much I loathe ClawdeenxToralei. It comes completely out of left field.
At least Valentine got a random bf that wasn't a character before so he can be written in any way, but Toralei was a very prominent antagonist throughout the entire run of G1 and never showed interest in Clawdeen or vise versa.

Clawdeen wasn't just headcanon'ed by the fandom, Garrett Sander revealed a while ago he wanted her to be a lesbian but Mattel said no, no lesbians. Hence why I have no problem with her getting a gf, but TORALEI out of all people???
Don't like how Valentine is an ex-villain and Toralei is an ex?-antagonist. Why have both be redeemed villains?
Why not use wholesome characters like Venus or Twyla (not as gfs for Clawdeen but in general)? Plus points, they never had bfs or were boycrazy so it's more believable with them. Give them girlfriends.
But no, lesbians or gays need to come with baggage and be controversial in some way or else it's not interesting. Valentine and his guy look like the cover for Heartstopper so you know this is aimed at straight girls first and foremost

PS: Love how Spelldon has the broccoli hair and he's green, like an anthropomorphic broccoli almost. He actually reminded me of Beast Boy from DC but apparently he is a wizard, Harry.

Last week I ordered a pizza from Domino's. The delivery guy, who I'd never seen before, was holding the pizza bag like a suitcase. My pizza got all scrunched on the side and there was cheese all over the top of the box.

Tonight I ordered a Marketfresh pizza from WalMart and once again, the delivery person was holding it vertically. All the toppings slid to one side.

Like, how can you not know how to hold a pizza??? I think you have to be pretty dumb to do this. And these people drive!

Very small gripe but hopefully someone else understands; you know the pumps that come with beauty products or shower/hand gels? Normally, you twist to 'unlock' them and start using them. But sometimes the pump nozzle twirls WITH the stem that goes into the liquid, so you're spinning it without it unlocking  :pout: So you need to open the tub, HOLD the stem and force the twist that actually allows the pump to be freed. Now imagine trying to do that in the shower!! My conditioner was like 'if you want to actually condition your hair, solve my puzzle!'

And then there are the ones which think their job is to splatter the tiles rather than deposit stuff into your hand for helpful use...

OMG yes. i had to throw out soap once because the stupid thing wouldn't open when twisted. and i couldn't just open it and decant either.

Taffeta, thank you for the explanation. it sounds like your local government isn't trying to win new supporters

I was gonna post about this but Zapper beat me to it lol. I'm surprised they didn't make them sooner, they're REALLY ramping up the homage or fandom dolls aren't they.

Much to my annoyance, I missed Free Comic Book Day, probably because my relationship with the major comics store is trash but I knew this MH comic was coming and wanted it dangit.

Thankfully, YouLoveIt.com has given the preview pages and I'll probably snatch up a digital copy as well.

It's a preview for a New IDW Publishing series and honestly I am liking what I'm seeing! The art style is neat, I like the little world building between Frankie and her dad and it reminds me of the Freaky Fusion building as well. I like the idea that 'Sparky' made Frankie's parents, and her parent's made her, sort of creation-becomes-creator kind of thing.

I also spotted this whilst looking up the New Scaremester title and I was shocked at the cover ghouls. Seriously?? TORALEI AND CLAWDEEN?!!?!? Clawdeen, ghoulfriend, you can do so much better than that! I want to get the comic just to see what nonsense is inside. I know the fandom headcanons Clawdeen as a lesbian, I like seeing her single and without a boo, but I'd support her having a SO but NOT Toralei!

This is the alternative cover, and I have two observations; Valentine looks weirdly younger, almost baby-faced here. And second, Spelldon looks a LOT like James Charles and that is DISTRACTING, it gives me the ick and the broccoli haircut is NOT helping.

(I've never liked James Charles, I found him unsettling and odd even BEFORE his big fall from grace)
