I remember a couple of years ago there was a video where a man showed off his wifes gen 1 collection.
It was displayed all over their bedroom, and I remember it to be really funny. However I can´t find it now.
Does anyone else recognize this?

I´ve been brooding a while over the best way to display my growing collection, and I finally decided on Ikeas Detolf-cabinet. This is the results, and I´m so pleased that I have to brag about it!

So I´m finally putting together a glass cabinet for my ponies. Since I don´t have any separate pony room it´s gonna be located in the livingroom, out of direct sunlight but still in a very light room.
These particular Ikea-shelves come with pre-drilled holes for led lights. In the evening it would look pretty sweet to have them lit up. However, is it ok with the plastic? I don´t think the lights turn out very hot, but still-do I dare? I def. don´t want to take any risks.
What do you more experienced guys reckon? Lights or no?

Right now, my ponies are sadly displayed high up in a kitchen cabinet with glass doors, and it´s getting crowded in there. I don´t have enough space for a big shelf, nor the money for new expensive furniture, so I need to see how the rest of you with smaller collections display them so I can get some inspiration.

visitors can't see pics , please register or loginSo, I´ve been dreaming about a Greek pony forever, and as of yesterday, Greek Peachy moved in with me. I just have to make a little brag about my Peachy-gals, here having a gathering in my garden: Macau Jenny, CP Peachy, Italy Peachy and El Greco Peachy. It´s nice to see them together, with their different nuances in hair and eye-color!

So I couldn´t be more happy, my family is the best ever! First off, I don´t know if I´m posting in the right forum, I´m a newbie here :-)
I´m holding on to my childhood ponies, and slowly searching to enlarge my little herd. But where to start? There are so many many beautiful items outthere, but I´m on a slim budget.
So, what´s your best tips?
Try to pick them one by one, or aim for larger lots (but more seldome)?
And how to pick ponies, did you start off by just buying whatever pony struck your fancy, or did you take them down family by family/group/pose?
I´m lost and confused here :-) Please provide tips for a poor ponyloving soul!

Hello! I´m a 36-year old female pony lover from the south of Sweden. I live in a big country house with my wife, our five kids and four rabbits. My favourite toys as a child in the 80´s was My Little Pony, but unfortunately my parents thought them too costly, so I only had my five loved ones; Tickle, Peachy (with the Pretty Parlor), baby Cotton Candy, Moon Dancer and Powder. I´ve kept them in pristine condition until my daughter got a hold of them and played hair dresser with a pair of scissors  . Now I´m indulging myself with trying to replace them, and also starting to collect all the g1 ponies I dreamed of as a child. Apart from this, my biggest interest are music from the 60´s and 70´s, singing, writing Music and I also watch lots and lots of Movies. Horror movies are my favourite and the past year I´ve watched over 200 horror movies. It´s safe to say I´m partly crazy :-) Well, thats all for now. Happy to join y´all!
