How about a rearing custom baby?

I have searched for and collected rearing fakie babies for a few years (they are from the 80's and the body resembles a G1 baby very much), because I think they would make a very cute custom made G1 baby pony, with just a head swap! (I wonder why hasbro never made any rearing babies)?

What do you think? I want to make a rearing baby Shady (since she wasn't made as a regular baby) The body fits very well with a unicorn head though. I will have to try with different earth baby pony heads and see who will fit best.

Has anyone else made a custom like this, and can show us a pic of it finished?

The body needs to be painted, but you get an idea of what she could look like:
(It is very well balanced and don't tip over).

Oh, and I have listed 3 bodies for sale, that I won't be needing, if anyone get's tempted to try themselves.
I'm keeping a few ones for myself, for when I find the time... :)

Cool idea and nice match. I happen to have a disassembeld baby unicorn that I never did anything with, and rearing fakies are fairy common. Would be nice to add Baby Nightbow to my lineup of Sunribbon, Starbow and Brightbow. :) I'm looking forward to see how your project develops!

I made one AGES ago.  It was baby Magic star.  Unfortunately the pictures either predate or were at the dawn of digital photography, and I've long since lost them.  I think I used a first tooth walking pony, but I'm not 100% sure. The head was very good, but not a perfect fit either.

Oooo So adorable I could just eat her up! I love the idea Ponyland and I actually kept a fakie with the same pose in the same purpose ;) But I was thinking a small rearing pose baby gusty! How cute wouldn't that be?!
