Awwww that is the sweetest doggy in the world Bugle! People can be horrible. Even if you can't prove it, can't you call and file a complaint with the police? Animal abuse is a crime. There are several hunters here in Maine who shot dogs "by accident" this hunting season, claiming they looked like coyotes (one of these was a black lab and one a husky...). They are being charged to the full extent of the law.

I will send some funds when I get home from work tonight.

Dragonflitter, Thank you for your support, it is really appreciated! I have reported it to the police, have a restraining order, and have taken every possible step in my power. Unfortunately/Fortunately the bullet went straight through him, which means I cannot link the bullet to his gun.

Eventually he will try something like this again, and he will be caught, but I have done everything that is legally within reach.
