Hi All,

After a long absence from collecting (real life being a pain ) I've decided that it is time to part with my beloved TAF babies . I have the entire set listed on eBay individually.

They are here:
http://www.ebay.com/sch/shadowcat7795/m.html?_ipg=200&_sop=12&_rdc=1
If it doesn't work my user id is shadowcat7795

The reserve is set at $100 for each baby and I will ship internationally (only sugarberry is set for domestic only, but I couldn't fix her because she already had a bid, but she can also be shipped internationally).

I also have a few Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild items up also :)

The babies are ending in about 3 hours (12 noonish Central Time).

Thanks for looking  :)
Sabrina

Only 3 hours to go on them. All but Love Melody are at the reserve. Don't miss out :)

I am currently the human slave to:

4 cats: Billy/Jewel (originally named Jewel, until we found out she was a he) He's my old man cat at 13.
Mittens adopted me at my ex's apartment she's 11.
Gizmo (I adopted her from a local rescue and named her Tinkerbell, had to wait to get her until she was big enough to spay. Picked her up and discovered they had neutered him changed his name to Gizmo) he's my little man at 1 he only weighs 5 lbs.
And Luna my beautiful little gray ball of energy. I (with the help of another wonderful young lady) rescued her from the underside of a Honda in the Wal-Mart parking lot about a month ago. Stupid woman drove prob. 10 miles with the poor little thing meowing under the hood (she even admitted to breaking hard to get the baby to fall out, while going about 65 mph). She is about 9 weeks old (she was only 5 weeks at the time of her rescue)

1 crazy Dog Scout (she's my mom's and is aroud 6)

1 Black Capped Conure Norbert da Snitch (named cause I love Harry Potter and he truly loves to snitch things) he's about 3.

1 parakeet Sweetie Pie my mom's she is about 3 also (we got her a week before Norbert and she is so not sweet ).

2 Bearded Dragons: Draco (II) he's about 6 mos. and Hermione she's about 3 mos. (you'd never guess I really like Harry Potter only 4 of my pets are named for characters )

1 tank of fish (various tetras and a tiger barb)

and the colony of Dubia roaches (yes I'm breeding roaches  they're feeders for the beardies)

In the past we've had 5 other dogs, 1 gerbil, tons of fish (goldfish, koi, bettas & guppies), 2 ferrets, 1 cat (my ex should still have her  :() and my first bearded dragon (Draco I, had the poor angel for only 1 week before he passed, stupid Petsmart employee must have injured him getting him out for me).

I'd love to get a leopard gecko, but I don't have the space right now to set up another tank for it (I have 2-40 gal long tanks in my little room now for the beardies). I'm going to Repticon in Nov. and may get one then (they do a lot of raffles for tanks, supplies and animals so I may be able to win part of it :)).

We love our animals in my house :)

Ohh Beanie Babies  :)

I've collected them since the mid 90's (around the time the Princess bear was just being released). I don't actively collect anymore (well not the newer ones), but I have a soft spot for the Peace bears and will gladly purchase them when ever I see them. I currently have about 200 peace babies, 3 or 4 of the mini(jingle) beanies, 5 buddies, 1 large buddy, 2 extra large buddies and 1 Jumbo buddy. I also have 1 of the newer "blue" peace bears and 1 of the newest ones that was released more recently. I need to finish setting them up in the curio cabinet and post a picture  :)

If anyone has any Peace bears, in any size(or any of the ty-dyed bears/bunnies) I'd be very interested in taking them off your hands just send me a message  :)

I'm bumping this back up cause I noticed that Lil came online on May 25th.

She still hasn't read my last two PMs.

Did anyone hear from her? I didn't, but I'm about to email her yet again. I really want/need my money back so I can purchase baby sweet tooth next time I find her

I just got a response to my last email from Lil. She hasn't been well the last few months. She got BST returned by the postal service and couldn't find my address. She offered to refund the amount or reship the pony (I opted for the pony and gave her my address  ) So we shall see if the post will get her to me this time.

I think she was embarrased by this problem and that is why she hasn't come online. I suggested that she come on and get in touch with the others that have posted here to resolve their concerns.

Well I just left lil feedback for my transaction. I'm very sad that it came to this, but I've gotten no response from her since March. If she comes back and makes things right I'll gladly change my rating, but I somehow doubt that she'll be back.

Now to save up the money to repurchase Baby Sweet Tooth (her sisters will have to wait a bit longer to meet her  :( )

Thanks y'all

That sounds sooo awesome! I feel like looking for a new job *sigh* But, I know even a new job would still suck as I have not completed post secondary education. I'm going back in Jan for administrative and secretarial, as it is only a year long prigram, and that seems to be the only amount of time I can handle in one program lol
It never hurts to look, you never know the perfect job may pop up :)  Good luck with your studies (I tried to go for medical transcription a few years ago, but I was working full time and I ended up having to drop it after a couple of months  ).

Good luck with your interview.
Most places have no problem hiring someone with limited experience that they can train (that's how I got my first job 15 years ago  )

In high school (16 yrs ago  ) I had girl names all picked out: Ariel Belle (Disney) or Cathrine "Kitty" Illyana (X-men).
But as I've gotten older my names have changed: Cassandra "Cassie" Annmarie or Samamtha "Sammie" Gayle (and I still love Catherine Illyana).
As for boys I really never even thought of having boys (my older brother has 3 boys, so mom wants girls  ).

I just sent her a final email requesting her response by Sunday. I told her that if I haven't had a response by then that I'm leaving her appropriate feedback. I'm losing hope that I'll see the promised refund. Which makes me sad cause that was a lot of money and the only funds I had to purchase baby sweet tooth (and now her sisters will not get to meet her until I save up the funds again  ).

I'll keep y'all updated and of course I'll be posting feedback if I don't hear from her  :(

Thanks y'all. I'm just so happy to finally get a job that is a family owned and not corporate owned  :)

I went back today to turn in the papers and got to talk with them again and I just can't hardly wait to get started (but I'm a good girl and will work out my last two weeks  :) )

Off Topic / Starting a new job in two weeks :)
« on: May 02, 2012, 08:30:27 PM »
I'm so excited! I had a customer call my office Monday to place a help wanted ad in our classified section (I work for a small local newspaper as a graphic designer/office manager) for his print shop.

He was looking for a new graphic designer after the girl that has been with him needs to leave for health reasons. Well he knows that I'm in the field and wanted to see if I knew anyone that would be interested. Well I was the one that was interested (my current job is getting ready to take away the graphics part and sent it to people "up north" and leaving me with just the CSR work which I hate >_< ).

I went in this morning to interview and tour their state of the art facility with all new computer and printing equipment  . Not to mention that they pay all medical insurance premiums and offered to pay my COBRA for up to six months until I can get on their policy (which he said should be June 1st) . They offered me $1 more per hour for the first year and then a $1 raise after the 1st year and then raises every year after that (I've been at my current job for 3+ years without a single raise. So I ofcourse jumped at the opportunity and told him yes

And I called my boss (who happens to be one of my best friends) and let her know what was going on and that I would be resigning my position effective in two weeks from Friday. She was happy for me, but sad to see me go. I told her I'd give her my written letter on Friday, cause that is the only day I work in the office with her (she's manager over 3 papers in different cities).

Now I'm nervous about the next two weeks and the prospect of starting a new career, but I'm all excited at the same time

Still no response. I just sent a second email to her. I'm not sure if she is not getting them or if something is really wrong. I'm hoping to hear something from her soon, but if not I'll keep emailing her until I get a response.
