That was what I was told by members of the Community when I bought my first ones (Minty & Lemon Drop)  from German Ebay years ago.  This was when you need to make sure a seller would even ship to you and be willing to accept well concealed Cash as there was not pay pal back then.  Then Bene in France purchased all those MOC piggies from a seller in Spain.  When she sold all her MOC Piggies, I was able to snag my little Golden Haired MOC Minty from her.

Really? *LOL* I didn't know that!! I do remember them from when I was a child. In fact, the club where I went horse riding gave them as prize during the carnival shows!

yes it is true, it was thought they were fakies until shelti found her minty MOC i have heard many a story of them being left at carboot sales as fakies!

i met with kris at ponycon last year and she was telling me that many children went to the toy making factories on school trips and they would give away spain made ponies (including piggys!) to the children as a gift!!!

I never went to a toy factory  (damn you school! Who wants to go to coca cola factory when you have hasbro!  )

I remember once, when I was changing school, I went to an interview with my mum, and there, in the playground in one of the waste bins there was a pink piggy... I wanted to get it but my mum wouldn't let me pick thinks from the trash!

Time machine when will you be available for me!!
