Isn't she cute? I used to be a girl scout.
Oh wow! I haven't bought a single MLP product since G4, but I might buy her! The design is so cute, with the sash, plus the colors of pale green and dark pink are so gorgeous. Green ponies are rare, too. And to top it off, it's an actual original character!? Gasp in shock.

I'm hearing elsewhere online that Books A Million has the blind box sets, so if you have one near you go check it out! I'm also hoping that we may see these pop up in the "weird shops" like TJ Maxx or Ross, since that's where I found a couple of the Basic Fun TE ponies! (Only Sweet Stuff, but hey! A win is a win!)
Okay I didn't realize we had them exclusively!  Yes I work at BAM and we have them here. I can pick them up at cost + shipping if anyone wants them. I bought a bunch of them at first, and I got all the regular ponies but neither Spike nor Ember, so I was a little bummed. I decided to go back and hefted the boxes carefully and I bought one that felt heavier than all the rest, and one that felt lighter than the rest, and I got Spike and Ember!  So now I have the whole set. Spike is quite a bit heavier than the rest, and Ember is a little lighter.

When I first started collecting MLP I sold a nice G1 Party Time I had that didn't have any regrind at all. I wish I had kept her, I didn't know how rare it is to have one without regrind!

Awww I didn't know BF was bringing them back! That's so cute!
I had a bunch of the old Kenner LPS when I was a kid. I got to be a certain age and thought they were "for babies" so I threw them out. I really regret that! I'm kinda surprised there's not more of an interest in the old Kenner ones. They feel so nostalgic to me.
I never got any of this style of LPS but those Axolots are so cute!

Ahh, we just got the Pixlings in at work! The bottle is pretty large, about the height of a Barbie? So I assume the dolls are a bit smaller than that. They're priced at $21.99 which isn't too bad, I think.
There's a bunch of instructions printed all over the bottle on how to correctly open it. You can't just yank it open, have to do it a certain way to "reveal" the doll correctly. It makes me chuckle how much effort is put into making these sort of toys "interactive" these days. These days toys aren't just toys, it's all about the presentation!
We got in two blue jewels and two pink ones at work. At first I was sad because I'm kinda thinking of getting the pretty deer girl (I love the cherry blossom designs on her clothes), but I assumed the blue and pink jewels were for the mermaid girl and the alicorn girl. But now that I'm looking at this post again, it seems like the pink one is the deer girl, and the alicorn one is purple.
At my job we don't usually get full boxes of a single toy, like Walmart or other big stores do. The company usually divides up the box and sends a few toys to each store. So I don't know how many Pixlings per box they normally are. We might get more later on. I hope so, anyway!
I was worried they would be overpriced like the $60 or $80 full-sized Mixlings, but I think $20 is not too outrageous for a doll of that size with this much detail.
(Also I just did a google search and saw a couple other characters? This might be just series 1! Or they might be exclusives to other stores, maybe.)

Based on reviews here and on Amazon, I think these are a cute idea but need better execution. I saw Amazon reviews where people bought multiples and got mostly doubles, just like you, BC.  And there are quality control issues too, I saw someone's review where they opened up one the packages and some pieces were missing. Such a shame.

Awww I wish we got the french fry guy at my store! He sounds adorable! I bought a couple more blind boxes and got... two more crystal kittehs.  I have no luck! I'm just going to buy the moon and rainbow ones off ebay and stop playing these dumb blind box games.

I'm back with more! I love my job, and seeing the new toys that come in. Even though I work in a bookstore, I spend more money in the kids toy section than I do on books lol. (But I love books too!) Anyway I tried buying a couple of the Litter 3 blind boxes and... both of them were the clear crystal-ish ones. I weighed them in my hand in the store and bought the ones that were slightly more heavy, thinking the crystal ones would be hollow, but nope! Should have bought the lighter ones! Anyway, I now know why no one is putting the codes online. These boxes do have a code on the bottom, but it's the same for every one! Gah! It must be a production code. All the boxes say G103SMDG very faintly on the bottom of the box. Anyway, I got the dark blue crystal guy and the light blue one. They're kinda cute, but I don't really like them so I'm probably going to put them up on ebay. (I might go back and try to buy a couple of the lighter boxes, hoping to get the rainbow or the sun or moon guys....) Anyway, I have a silly thing to show off... we got Aphmau MeeMeows GIANT PLUSH!! THey're really cute! Only the Strawberry character, I don't think there are others. They are the size of a large Squishmallow, as you can see in the pics. But they are... $50.
