Christmas Pony WIP

so I started working on my own Christmas pony... and since I'm obsessed with reindeer (my current Christmas collection has  30 reindeer ornaments and figurines ) I decided I need a pony reindeer! :3

here she is so far :3

I can't decide if I want to go further and sculpt cloven hooves or not...

two of the hooves would be hard to do it on, that's the only reason I'm debating

She's already so cute!!!  I'd vote for doing the feet too, but if it seems like it would be more work than you'd be happy with then just skip it.  She's going to be awesome either way!

She is looking fab!  You *could* sculpt the front two feet and paint the back to feet to mimic the effect.  The front feet are much more noticeable.

thanks! yeah I'm looking at it, and two of the hooves point downwards, I was thinking those would be hard to sculpt properly, that's what I was worried about.


@Roogna: I suppose maybe subconsciously they might have been since I do love the Rankin/Bass christmas classics, but I came up with the design on my own without actually looking at anything from Rankin/Bass. The saddle was inspired by carousel horses, the antlers I free handed in wire

I say try the feet. If it doesn't work out, scrap it and leave it without the cloven hooves. It's a stunning beginning, so this pony is going to be awesome no matter what.
