I've been doing customs just out of my own resin base, but last week I finally got off my high horse (pun not intended but I will point it out anyway as I still find it amusing) and bought a g4 Rarity from the store to rip up and customize. SPAAAAAACE is her name! I learned quite a bit from doing this and I'll probably do more with store bought baits.
My resin bases are quite small, so using a regular size g4 bait was a huuuuge canvas to work with comparitively! I'll stop rambling now, on to the pics!

loginAlso, her eyes and nebulae/star clusters glow in the dark (if only I'd had some GITD hair I could have given her!)- the GITD paint is translucent and looks a tad splotchy on the black, heh. I'm working on trying to take a better GITD photo, but until then here is a horrible quality, low res, out-of-focus, weirdly-cropped shot:
