Does anyone seal their ponies?

Hi there! I make customs out of original castings I sculpted myself (if that makes sense, haha) and I've been wanting to find a good fixative spray. I use Apple Barrel brand craft acrylics and I tried sealing my ponies with Blair matte clear spray fixative. It worked on some colors, but I've been having trouble with a sticky residue it's been leaving behind. I'm not sure how well you can see in that picture, but there's some discoloration and dust/hairs and whatnot stuck to Screwball's side, and it's sticky to the touch. Roseluck was my worst for this problem. You see how her mane and tail are all shiny? That's not a gloss finish. That's goop. D: Her body's not sticky at all though, as opposed to Screwball.

So, anyone have any ideas? I want to seal my ponies to protect against wear and tear as well as waterproof them a little (I've started making brushables and I wet the manes/tails to style them), and I'm looking for something preferably with a matte finish, and hopefully sprayable for an even application.

People here use mod podge or testors i use testors.

Testors Dull Cote to be exact. Shake that can waaaaaay longer than you think is safe. Also mod podge watered down to the consistency of milk. It dries clear. If it gets overly wet it may turn white but it will dry clear again.

Army Painter Anti-Shine Matt Spray has worked well with ponies, not leaving them sticky at all I can't buy Mod Podge from here so I was excited to find a spray that worked. Matt Mr. Super Clear spray works too or so I remember, but it is a bit harder to find.

I use watered down Mod Podge. It works very nicely.

I've just started using Mod Podge, but Claudine Hellmuth Studio multi-medium in matte watered down is great too!
